Foam pattern would be pretty much the same, just make the fabric a little bigger for seamallowance. I'm thinking, maybe, just maybe make the dart a little smaller...Cool pattern. I worked out a similar myself ;)
Perhaps i should post my thoughts on a kermit-pattern....i'll have to draw some...
I am listening to the german soundtrack of TNES the first film right now, and i must say it is way more beautiful that the us-version. The us soundtrack sounds cheap in comparison.
I saw the first movie when i was 8 yers old at the cinema. Wow, i was hooked directly. What a fascinating story, and so much magic. I still haven't read the book so all of the magic is in the movie for me. However i will read the book soon. I'm looking forward to finding out how it was...
They are not flaweless, believe me. I made these at a time when i didn't understand a thing about puppetbuilding, hence the results...i am not really satisfied with them. I know i can get better results today.
Oh, it sucks, doesn't it...i need foam, glue, dye for antron, hotglue, lots of other stuff too....a new set of razors....and oh...a workshop haha
I wish i had more time and money to buld'em...it's such a fun hobby but it is expensive to buy material. I have wasted so much material learning so now that i feel that i am ready to build them seriously i have no money for it :(
I did buy a bunch of antron fleece though
Nope, i did not pattern these. I did these a few years ago, when i didn't know how to make patterns so i just improvised. As i have said befor, they are not moveable mouth puppets, just sort of models of the muppets.
I will try to work out a pattern for sam and build a working version of him...
