Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
HIT seems to be shying away from their generic response of the past couple weeks and are now addressing the actual concerns of the consumer. According to the comments on Muppet Newsflash, they now say:
I'm sure the complete series will be complete, with all 96 episodes. And a stand-alone Season 4 would have that episode too, as it would pick up where Season 3 left off...
Sidebottom Blues is on the borderline where the organization of the seasons can be conflicting. It's likely on the Season 3 box in Australia.
I don't have the AUS Season 4 - are there any episodes on that set that are also on the US Season 3?
from Animation World Network, September 16 2008
The Jim Henson Company will debut two new CGI-animated series, DINOSAUR TRAIN and THE SKRUMPS, at MIPCOM Jr.
Created for 3-6 year old children, DINOSAUR TRAIN, featuring a colorful steam engine that carries dinosaurs to the many prehistoric...
The "Jim Henson's Christmas Classics" banner is interesting. I wonder what else they might release under that series.
Aren't all other Christmas specials with the Muppets?
Sounds like a cool idea. If one were to make such a book, it would be invaluable to obtain a copy of Karen Prell's Encyclopedia Fragglia, the show's bible.
Looking through those very rare annuals produced during the show's run would certainly help too.
I think many people might be planning to hold off and see if HIT will release Season 4 eventually. I believe they will, considering they've been planning it since January, have been working on it since and only recently postponed it.
HIT has said this big 25th anniversary set is a special...
It will continue to go up and down dramatically. It won't start to stabilize until a day or two before release, and then it'll jump high (or higher, rather) the day of.
It looks ok. The bad thing about the discs being housed in sleeves is that they can scratch very easily (packed that way they often come scratched, denying you the opportunity to do it yourself).
Instead of pictures of the Fraggles, it seems each disc has the "25 years" logo. They are...
Since the press release doesn't mention it, I think it's highly unlikely any of that will be reissued.
I seem to remember when some people bought the first season late, it didn't come with a notepad replica (as HIT had run out at that point). Any back stock or inventory they might have had...
It is very common now for final season sets and complete series sets to be released around the same time (or on the same day). HIT's distributor, Lionsgate, is preparing to release both items for Will and Grace on the same day next month. It's quite common now.
And if that's not the way to...
Hopefully yes, it'll be among the final season bonus features somehow. It wasn't mentioned specifically in the press release for the complete series set, so that doesn't look good.
But that doesn't mean it won't be included, neccessarily.
I understand you and, believe me, I'm just as angry as you at the idea of possibly not getting Season 4. And I'm hoping a TON of people are contacting HIT right now with their concerns.
Don't give up the ship too quick. They haven't said they WON'T release Season 4 individually.
The important thing is to communicate directly with HIT. If you haven't already, write and specifically request a stand-alone Season 4. A mailed letter is best. Don't tell them you'll re-buy; tell...
Hmm. Well, they might have given you a stock response if you didn't ask a specific question about what their plans are. If you ask them a direct question, they usually give you a direct answer.
