FR is actually very very clean even by todays POV..The only thing they might say is that unlike todays cartoons, which have characters talking about death and "I'm going to kill you and use your eyes for floss", FR actually sees death as a serious topic to be talked about and understood...And...
Well, of course, but it does not hurt anything to just talk about how writing shapes which characters get noticed more now and then, after all, it's not like what we say here matters to them one way or another, it's just talk :)
I think he hasn't really, he still has so much to teach older...
I won't say my ideas are morbid..just realistic. And while fraggles do handle everything with happiness (at least, most types of fraggles) they do so though some very serious times I think..Any of season 4 shows this :)
I really don't think that is the case with Bob or he would have left years ago..and besides, even if someone dies they seem more in the habit of just forgetting them (even if they are seen a lot) than actually saying they died anymore, even if little ones know about death already..which I think...
It works, it works very very well..In fact, I have never as of yet seen it be used for any bad reason :).
But really, just because more people here are not use to having editing always open does not outweigh all the good it could do IMHO...I see being able to edit my stories as being able to...
I think they don't mean all at once, but the way it is worded just makes it sound that way:)..What I see it as is "What is the last movie/song/show you watched or listened to ?"
Well, if no time limit to editing was something they were not use to (even though I don't know of any other forum online that has a time limit) of course someone will try to play with it, but if they are that sort of person they will get bored of just using it for fun very quickly IMHO :excited:
I think I remember a feature on some forum I belonged to once that kept a copy of a post so a mod could override an edit :\ I could be wrong..But if it was the sort of topic that got heated I think mods would take some action before it got made into an editing war (or if it did they could see it...
After he finds the other caves he spends a lot more time back home though..Awww, I can just see the romance, the storyteller tying him up somewhere and reading him the fraggle version for War and Peace :coy:
I think that some things are called spamming when they are'nt really..I mean, it seems that if a lot of people join in and think that something is just for fun it is looked at as okay but if it is just a couple people saying something that is suppose to be serious but no one else 'gets' it is...
I guess it is like everything else on tv, the writers are ether good and there or there but so-so. Good enough to get good ratings but not really do anything that makes you really stop and take notice or change anything...I'm not saying todays SS is like that at all, but its stories could always...
Hmmm..my tiny two cents from being a part of many other forum online for many years is that for better or for worst there are always 'in' groups in forums that are hard for newcomers to get into by nature. This goes doubley for something like the dorms, which looks to me to be a classic case of...
I knew about the bottles, but since the sign over the apts where I live say just living here causes cancer basically, it is a darned if I do darned if I don't thing really.
My ma never let me eat anything with food coloring in it..and now the fake colored cereals are basically all I eat for...
Because it is something worthwhile to talk about. You don't have to if you don't want to :sympathy:
It matters. And the only reason they don't mind one way or another is becuase they were not around in the past, and if what they see when they are little shapes their tastes to begin with why...
