Again, I think part of the problem was the Muppets faded away into obscurity in the 2000s... then again, that probably wouldn't have happened (or, at the very least, the Muppets probably wouldn't have faded away as much as they had) if JHC didn't keep bouncing them around from company to...
I thought VALIANT was a DreamWorks movie, if only because all the trailers said, "From the creators of SHREK", however, it seemed clear to me that HAPPILY N'EVER AFTER and SPACE CHIMPS were off-brand movies.
SST wasn't "dumbed down" so much, but that's what Jon Stone unwittingly went on record as saying, in his own frustration of what was becoming of SST because of Barney (well, SST started having problems before Barney came into the picture with certain people who were on the production staff in...
I still don't understand what purpose Kristen Bell was supposed to serve for special, other than to just stand around a look pretty (which she did quite well I'll admit, but that's besides the point).
That reminds me too... I don't even remember what the song was, but Gaga's second number was...
Again, none of the Muppets were really spot-on in this special, nobody really seemed to be on top of their game last night, they all came across as a bunch of Nigels... except for Piggy, of course. Even Statler and Waldorf's signature, "D'OH-hohohohoho!" laugh lacked energy.
Somebody previous...
Again, if there's anything that was there was too much of... it's Walter's facial expressions, he kind of overdoes. I mean, I'm all for puppets having flexible mouths, thus allowing them more expression in their faces (I still haven't been able to completely master it myself, but then again, I'm...
Piggy was pretty much one of the only good parts of the special; as I said previously, I actually liked her (attempted) rendition of "Santa Baby", which is one Christmas song I never particularly cared for.
No, not here, Facebook, and not EVERYTHING, just basically all that I've posted within the last year or so.
I must have gotten their attention when I posted my Thanksgiving illustration of Steve D'Monster finding an angry Gary Gnu stuffed in a turkey (as I posted it on THE GREAT SPACE...
I'm not a fan of FAMILY GUY either (or, really, any adult cartoon for that matter), but I AM aware of some of the behind-the-scenes drama that seem to plague it, and I'm almost guessing that killing off Brian is probably some kind of passive aggressive stunt Seth is pulling to get the message...
This special was really... meh.
I'm sorry, but I got really bored with the special.
It seemed like the holiday aspect of the whole special took a serious backseat for the whole show, it was more like a Lady Gaga plugging her new album special, with only a holiday song thrown in here and...
Again, the last I heard anything, Brian's death is apparently a "hoax"... but again... heh... y'know what? I'm with Sarge, why the frog do I even care?
It's so hard to tell with you. :p
But in this case, I think it's the latter, I'm in the same boat there... BUT, at the same time, as I've said, adult cartoons in particular kill off characters and bring them back to life all the time *cough*Kenny*cough*.
Heck, even on Courage - which wasn't...
Again, Seth MacFarlane WANTS the show to end... he's BEEN wanting the show to end... but FOX won't let it him end it... which, once again, brings to mind the point of NEVER SELL YOUR CREATION TO ANOTHER COMPANY, WALT DISNEY HIMSELF SAID THIS.
Really (as in the sarcastic "really")? Those things...
I still don't understand why everybody's upset. Adult cartoons kill characters off then bring them back to life all the time. How many times have they killed Kenny?
Besides, the last I heard, Brian's death is a hoax.
Even Shrek had more of a potential to be turned into a TV series, but I kind of imagine that later on, it's turn out to be like ARTHUR - focusing less and less on Shrek, Fiona, and the Ogrelings, and more and more on the secondary characters like Gingy, Pinocchio, the Three Little Pigs, etc.
