Sometimes it's about who you know when applying for a job. It sucks that it can be like that, but I know I've applied for jobs and found out they were filled later by someone who knew someone within the corporation or things like that. But, this can also work to your advantage if you're able...

Upside Down World with Ernie and Bert, apparently when I was little I would cry when Big Bird and Snuffy say goodbye and I wouldn't smile or start laughing again until Upside Down World came on. I also love the song Easy Going Day.

Getting warmer and more muggy. We had a nice stretch of weather with the highs only being in the 70's through the weekend which was great. Now it's getting into the 80's again with 90 not far behind. Sigh, summer. I'm ready for fall.

I loved Gonzo most in The Great Muppet Caper. I love the elevator scene "stick your nose in here, it's great!" Hailing the taxi, when he yells "stop the presses" simply because he's always wanted to do it, him and Fozzie playing "pat your head, rub your stomach", anytime he says "say cheese"...
