Heh heh. That's not old. I was either in 2nd or 3rd grade when it first aired. I've never been certain if the show was first shown on tv in '82 or '83.

Prolly true. Gobo's too focused on his goals in life. ( ... of course, ya don't know what he's doin' off camera) . Anyway, perhaps the G needs a bit of Marjory's Love Porion #9.
Nick:smirk:
I see, I see. Well, I did post earlier that it was and has always been Gobo ... which has been going on for about 15 1/2 years... cuz I didn't get HBO until 1987 but the second I saw Gobo, ( which I think was in the episode " New Trash Heap in Town " ) I just fell for himpretty much when I...
I'm disappointed this got so off topic. I'd actually like to talk about this sort of thing since I've been living with a fraggle crush for such a long amount of time.
Nick:smirk:
Ooh thanks! I didn't think this thread even showed up because Netscape just kept on umm... refusing to connect or something.
Anyway, If I just wrote " care of Jerry Nelson " or something to that extent, he should get it... at least in theory? I've never really done the the fanboy thing...
Hi,
I saw a thread about this topic but couldn't find the answer I sought & also couldn't find said answer in any of the FAQs around the site either. I may have missed them of course ( I'm so weary & tired these days :smirk: ) but anyway, here's my question.
Is it possible to snail mail...
Actually, the fraggles would make great emoticons.
Red = angry
Wembley = confused
Mokey = lovey-dovey
Boober = sad or nervous
Gobo = happy or confident... he'd make a good " wink " actually
Travelling Matt = he could be the regular happy face
Junior Gorg = dumb or...
Heh heh.... I think there was a thread on the old forum with his topic... but I've always had this rather unexplainable love for Gobo. It took me several years to understand what this emotion I was feeling towards the orange fellah though. It's this sad, longing feeling. .... I guess because...
According to some of the behind the scenes paperwork and press kits I've purchased through eBay, there was mention that Gobo was supposed to kind of sound like " our friends up north " from the show's conception.
Not only does Gobo do the " eh " thing all the time ( which is just freakin'...
Gads! Those are sickeningly awesome. Jeez..... I hope the line doesn't have an untimely death as many potentionally cool lines do. I want that Gonzo & Camilla. ... and that Gonzo with the balloons hiding in the background. I think he's a PVC.
I'd sell part of my soul if they'd do at least...
I liked that scene from the Christmas special too. I think it was one of the last times we got to see the fraggles. If I'm not mistaken, it aired after their series ended. It was cool to see Robin & Gobo together too being of same voice & all.

Yup. It's kinda painful looking at the new Muppet figures ( now that I own a few of them ) and seeing how perfect they're made. If they did the fraggles like that... they'd be exactly as I'd always dreamed them to be. Oh well. Wish the Henson folks would get up off their cracker and put the...
YES! Those are some of the most magical moments in this world's history. They make me want to stay alive. Thanks for reminding me of them. Ya see, it's been a while since I've watched fraggles ( I know, that's awful on my part ) and I've been slowly watching them again. Just saw " Treasure of FR...
Oh... like the one's in " Muppet Christmas carol "? That always bugged me cuz they used the " late " Mudwell the mudbunny in there.... oh, and what was even more disturbing was how they stuck Sprocket's head on a little body..... or was that that " Dog City " show?
