My only thought on this is that if they do it right, then that's great. How to do it correctly is the issue though. I'd highly recomend the Henson folk looking into getting as many of the orignial writers & performers as they can get in on it and ESPECIALLY Dennis Lee and Phillip Balsam ( I hope...
It might be on line. I just bought the magazine. It's just a small picture but it's one I've never seen before. I looks like it may be a behind-the-scenes shot. Boober looks fat. :smirk:

I guess it depends on what they were actually rating. I kinda took it to mean they were rating the actual episodes. Maybe I'm biased but I really think almost every episodes Fraggle Rock is very well-crafted and well-written. There's not much that could be done to better them.
As for the...
I just picked up the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly ( with Johnny Depp on the cover ) and they have a review of the fraggle DVDs in their new release section. They gave them a B+ ( poopy heads! ). There's a 'lil pic of " old " Gobo & Boober that I myself haven't seen before.
Anyway...
Yeah, I'd be wary about them changing too much also. Maybe just a little depending on whatever circumstances would arrive.
So do you have some fraggle photos like the one from Newsweek? <:-)
If you wanna drop me an email, we can try to work out that trade again and I can try fitting it...
Gobo's voice is a bit more gravelly than Robin's though.... plus, Gobo would be older too ( depending on the time period any new stuff would be set in ) so Jerry could maybe still pull it off.

Really? Wow! You wouldn't happen to have any " prototype " fraggle photos in your collection would you? I'd like to know as much about them as you can tell me. :smirk:
Oh, and by the way, sorry that I've haven't gotten around to making those copies for you. My free time is so limited these...
Is that issue available now or after Jan. 10th?
And, I wonder if that photo of the fraggles is new or old. They're dressed differently but Gobo appears to be the " first " version.

I Know What Would Be Cool!
It'd be frellin' awesome if they had the option for commentaries o the box sets. Not just the puppeteers & writers but the actual fraggles & doozers too! Kinda like the LOTR DVDs.
*boogies* :smirk: :excited:
Nick
Yeah, I'd tend to think Jerry may want to give Gobo another shot since he was one of his few star characters. I'd hope anyway. Gobo with a fake voice... well... hmm.. * counts chickens before they hatch * :smirk:
Nick
Yup! Depending on who's out there on eBay, Hasbro Boober can be quite expensive. I think my boxed one was about $100 as well. :smirk:
And if you're having a bidding war against some jerk, he can go for far more than that. I went through that in like... December of 1998 I think.
Nick
The only fraggle party supplies that one might be able to find would be vintage ones.... which aren't easy to come by. If the Fraggle Rock DVD releases take off though, maybe new fraggle party things could happen.
