I was just thinking about this the other day. I recently watched The Great Muppet Caper and The Muppets Take Manhattan (again, for who knows which time- the millionth?) Anyway, apparently it had been a while since I saw The Great Muppet Caper, because I realized that Frank Oz and Oscar the...
A friend of mine sent this to me. You all might have seen it before, but anyway...
take a look

 :grouchy: :attitude: :boo: :(
(these smilies are fun)
Muppets Magic is very hard to find!
Pretty no store anywhere around where I live has had this video.
I finally found a copy of it today at Suncoast, after they told me on the phone that they didn't have this video at all. To be fair, maybe they just now got it in. Amazon did seem to have...
Hey,
I just found this on Ebay. Check out the link.

It seems to be a handbill for a live Muppet Show performance. I don't think this is the one for the Muppet Show convention, so I was wondering if anyone...
I highly doubt this last quote, since we've had cell phones since at least the late 1980s!
(technically, they were around even in the 70s!) Trust me, I saw this stuff at the museum recently
:)
;)
But to get back to the post, yeah, muppets.com could be improved by a lot.
And I'd...
I noticed that my signature has been reduced to one line now. Was a new law passed stating that signatures must only be a line long or something? I guess I missed that if that had been what was decided already.
I mean, that's cool if you we're just needing to save space so the posts aren't...
This may have been posted before, but I thought I'd let everyone know that I found a web site with some samples of the Muppets comic strip that ran in newspaper in the 1980s.
Check it out here

I believe you can also buy a book...
The dumbwaiter was the coolest thing about "Webster"!
Ok, sorry, that was just the first thing I thought of when I heard that. And as for Muppets to room with, I think I'd take Sam, the American Eagle!!!! :attitude:
And I can't believe nobody's chosen Kermit the Frog!!!!
I'd definitely...
Hey,
I just got the John Denver and the Muppets: Rocky Mountain Holiday special on video and then I read on the site that there's a scene cut from it. I believe this is the video clip of John Denver in the plane with Rowlf, presumably taken out because of John Denver's death in a plane...
new Muppet skit
I'm not sure how a new Muppet show would be different from The Muppet Show or even Muppets Tonight, but I would hope some elements would still be there. I think it would be hilarious to see the Muppet Newsman still doing his updates on the show. In fact, I thought of a new...
Sorry
Boy, do I feel stupid. I just noticed above that Gonzo was already mentioned in the first post.
Sorry
But Gonzo is the biggest character on there and probably the most recognizable. :concern: :)
I'm having fun with these smilies.
We gonna get one for Sweetums or Uncle Deadly?
Well, there's also...
Gonzo!
:concern:
Can't believe nobody mentioned him.
But yeah, there's also Sweetums, and Digit. I think that's the extent of the Muppets I can name. If anyone's seen the Vincent Price episode of the Muppet Show, there's a skit on there where a large monster eats...
Goodbye neighbor
I just had to post on this thread.
Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was certainly a mainstay of my favorite television shows growing up. Right on in there with Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow, it was one of the PBS shows I had to see.
I always enjoyed visiting different work...
I wasn't sure where to put this, but I figured this fit under TV appearances. Anyway, I read somewhere on a website that was listing Big Bird's appearances that he showed up in The Great Muppet Caper. I know he was in The Muppet Movie and The Muppets Take Manhattan, but I don't remember this...
So anyway, in answer to the original question
I have no idea why the Jim Henson Company decided to let Mr. Bimbo live in Squire Trelawney's finger. Probably because it was Fozzie playing the role of Squire Trelawney and he seemed fit for a funny role like that. That was one of the funnier...
Can't think of many more references right now but...
this is just a quick message in reply to Cantus Rock.
What does "imposing your beliefs on others" mean?
By stating what you believe?!!! If you don't agree with what I believe, you don't have to. But I will speak up for the Truth when it...
Saw Kermit on Late, Late Show......
And I remembered why I don't watch the late shows!
I happened to be up and thought I'd check it out, but was sorely disappointed. I can't believe the Henson company would let their characters say stuff like what Kermit said on the show. And Sarah...
I was looking through November's issue of Reader's Digest the other day at work. I saw a nice article on Pierce Brosnan, who's starring as Bond, James Bond in the new movie Die Another Day coming out this month. Anyway, at one point, Pierce mentions that the last time he did fire breathing was...
Don't know if this has been posted yet, but just the other day I saw a commercial for General Mills cereals and free DVDs are being given away with the select cereals. Man, people have to give away DVDs just to get kids to eat a healthy (somewhat) breakfast? Whatever happened to getting the...
