In a way, I think Mr. Juhl's departure may be a good thing for the fraggle movie. Ya see, now he and Jim can umm... work things from " behind the curtain ". Besides, how else are the writers gonna be able to come up with a script the top " Change of Address " without a little other-worldly...

I think it just says " Jim Henson's fill-in-the-blank " now. :smirk:

They play that song during with the Fraggle Float from the '84 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. There's even some silly-creature-sized fraggles who breakdance to it. I kid thee not. One can find this song on the " Music and Magic " CD too. :smirk: :excited:

Cuz the show was only so long. Plus, in the Season 1 DVD bonus stuff, Jerry Juhl talks about how he had to tell Balsam and/or Lee to shorten some of their songs cuz the show's only less than 30 minutes. :smirk:

I'm posting this as a new thread so it gets noticed. The mods can re-file it if they like. Just wanna ask, has anyone heard ANYTHING new and/or recent concerning the rumored fraggle movie? Is it even happening? Does anyone know if there's at least a room somewhere with top secret fraggle...

I have a copy of an early draft of that script. Originally, it centered more on a " Gobo vs. Boober " theme... if that makes sense. :smirk: Nick

I think they may mention it in Gobo's description in the " pitch book " packed in with the Season 2 DVD set. It may also make a slight reference to his accent. I can't remember at the moment if that's where I read that info or not though. I read it somewhere. :smirk: Nick

Of course. I'd love to have ALL of the music from Fraggle Rock on CD, not just the songs. It's doubtful that anyone would ever compile such a collection but I tells ya, I'd buy a copy or two. :smirk:

It is out of print now. Some one was selling a copy via Amazon ( dunno if it's still there ) but at one point, they were asking $199.00 for it. :smirk: :excited:
