I'm a Boober fan to, I just like him for being a big sweetie under it all :3.
That reminds me, it is a shame they did not make a 'bigger' Boober to go with the bigger Red, Gobo and Wembley..I know he is smaller than them but not *that* tiny *lol*
There is nothing bigger..at least fraggle world wise :). Or, at least Boober's kind wise...Poor Boober *hugs* But, it is not too far fetched, I think...*goes back to writing*
*lol* Red must not be your favorite character then ;). She always was mine:excited:
Unlike Matt though, Mokey was one of the main five so the lack of her character really shows IMHO : (. And with all the FR DVDs now the toys are selling very well even though they stopped making them. I hope the...
No one is going to kill anything:)...Anyway, it is pretty much on topic, since these are reactions to the news.
I actually think that Abby doesn't need her own show as they are putting her in just about everything as it is:coy:
But it is not a fact ;). Just because a show has down points does not mean it is dieing, anymore than having a bad flu always means you will die of it. Sometimes, your mindset is half the battle :excited:
Well, Ss isn't just a show anymore I think, it may have started as just that, but now it is such a part of everyones lifes and history I think doing away with it would be a little like doing away with preschool :(.
It's not like Romper Room was, just a fun little show to keep little ones from...
I think SS is doing pretty well for itself...it might not be exactly what we like right now but it seems to be holding its own, in many parts of the world to :). That is not something even the best newcomers can say they do well :3
But what I am saying is just because it does doesn't mean it will stay down, and just because it happens never means there is no hope :). Most of all when, unlike gravity, we humans have complete control over something, like a tv show.
If you want to give up you are more that welcome to, but...
And the toys are still selling very well years later for a lot more money...I think if a Mokey had been made it would have been one of the most collectable and searched for all the fraggles even now...It's a shame they didn't know our fandom a bit more:sympathy:
But it's that line of thought that makes things a self fulfilling prophecy :sympathy:. It should not be seen as 'oh well it's lasted forty years, it can't really last much longer, let's just grade it year by year like a dying person eating green jello' it should be 'Wow, this show is forty years...
The playful performance of a fraggle and his worm came to an end in uneasy silence as Bimsy turned to see a group of fifteen or so fraggles all staring at her with intent, interested expressions. Large Marvin took a crunching bite of radish cracker where he sat in the front row of the group, his...
It would have been cute if Snuffy's little sister had learned to talk and she got her own show, it could be called 'Alice's Wonderland' :3 *heehee* I would watch it :3
It's only too late if you think it is too late ;). The same goes for the makers of the show I think...I'm sure that they will come back and be good again sooner or later, as soon as someone comes along and is willing to take more risks and not see it as hopeless :). Mr. Henson didn't give up...
