See... Worse than Wild Wild West... at least some people found some sort of enjoyment in WWW. I cannot wait for TV Trope's YMMV page on After Earth to expand. So far it only lists the Scientological brain washing. Actually it expanded a little since yesterday... nothing funny though...
Unless someone else posted it...
The Chipmunks sing about all the awful programming NBC had to offer in 1983.
Okay okay okay... Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Kidd Video, and Smurfs are cool. But the Mr. T cartoon has to be seen to be believed. It's terrible! No Howlin' Mad Murdoch!
I really hope that's true. 9 Story does a beautiful job with Wild Kratts... they do a meh job on Arthur. Certainly not worse than what Cookie Jar would have done. Seriously... Cailou looks worse, if that was even possible, and the 2 Flash originals Hooray for Huckel and especially Doodlebops...
The one thing I'd disagree with is that if Julie on Sesame Street gets released on DVD, who's gonna bet it's the company that did that stupid Christmas special?
Anyway, yeah. I really want Old School 3, I'm glad they released it, but the fact that they couldn't secure the rights to their own...
I might just skip Epic. I kinda wanted to see it, but I'm so far behind, I'm going to have to miss it. Had I the chance to see Star Trek back 2 weeks ago when it came out, maybe... but for a myriad of reasons I just couldn't make it until this weekend.
I'm far more interested in Superman...
Again, Pixar has made Teaser trailers quite some time in advance, and I suspect they were originally created as pilots/test films in the first place. Last time, The Muppets came out in November, but didn't even get a teaser until POTC 4 came out. I'd suspect whatever cartoon film they have in...
It's laziness... It's also why I've grown to hate rerunning classic shows. Put the things on DVD instead. At least then you'll have access to all the episodes before they edit the crap out of them and create artificial scarcity and show only half the show. I remember the short period of time...
Disney failed to release Seasons 4 and 5 when the iron was still hot. A 5 year pause after season 3? They so could have released season 4 and 5 by now. But they wanted to hold over for some vauge year of the Muppets thing 2 years after it should have been released. Then they had an ample...
Replace Spongebob with Rugrats, and that was the network essentially in the late 90's. I don't see much of a difference on that end. The only bad thing I see is their Nick at Nite programming being full of crappy sitcoms from the 00's that no one liked in the first place.
My problem with...
I can just imagine a lesser director making Kahn a camp straight stereotype, not very threatening and a joke. There's too much to parody there and the writers took the high road. Considering they threw in Kirk seducing alien women in both films as a gag, the relative parody of the series was...
Ah, Wrath of Kahn. The only original Star Trek movie anyone actually likes.
Didn't see it, but have seen episodes with Kahn... I'm mixed. With all due respect to Ricardo, I like Kahn that's affably evil with a sexy Spanish accent... but there's just something about Benedict Cumberbatch's...
Goldurnit, that Star Trek movie was freakin' good. Liked it more than the first. heck, it was more Star Trek-y than the first. Looking at how J.J. Abrams handled the space battles... Star Wars is in good hands.
Of course, any hands that aren't Lucas are good hands.
Anyway, Big fat...
Oh yeah. it definitely avoids Narm as greatly as possible, and they are fulfilling their promise to help children in any situation.
Just...
It's hard not to be a complete jerk and guess what the father Muppet did to get arrested in the first place. That seems like a very Robot Chicken-y...
Monster Clubhouse seems like a lost opportunity. It could have totally been fleshed out for a full half hour show, it really had a PeeWee's Playhouse like vibe to it. It really feels like something JHC would have pitched to Nickelodeon in the early 90's. It's all about venue. Too bad Sesame...
You had me at Reporter Kermit with hat! The legal tie ups that kept the hat off of Palisades Koosbaine Kermit are a legendary fan block... luckily Disney doesn't have that problem, and he remains delightfully Sesame Streetish.
