Barkley was Big Bird's companion to both China and Japan (and in the case of "Big Bird in Japan"- I do believe he was the only other Muppet in the special!)
Yeah- Kermit definitely remarked to a pig in the "Old MacDonald" sketch with the Yip Yip aliens that she reminded him of something.
Also, a picture of Miss Piggy (kinda the 1st. Season TMS look) has shown up in a sketch on Sesame Street in the background. I've got a picture of it somewhere- I...
For all those unfortunate enough to have NOT seen this yet, or for those who have fond memories of seeing this circa the late 1980s and want to relive some memories- check out one of my all time favorite Sesame Street songs here.

Nintendo Entertainment System!!! Oh yes! Definitely the best video game system ever! (Well, and the Atari 2600! And I love my Sega Game Gear too!)
But NES is always the best!
There's Super Mario Bros. 1,2,and 3 - DuckHunt, Tetris, Track and Field (I've actually played this game with the...
Yeah, those would have been good ones to include. I think most of the "Kids' Guide to Life" series doesn't tend to include classic clips- though I think maybe a few of them do. When I get time, I'll have to try to check out some more.
Here's another review!
From the Sesame Street Kids' Guide to Life series, we have the entry "Telling the Truth". This is a 1997 video (released on DVD in 2003) and it guest stars Dennis Quaid as Telly's Uncle Tommy! :)
There aren't any classic clips used on the video, which I'll have to...
Yes- Richard Dean Anderson IS MacGyver! (and he plays Colonel Jack O'Neill - I think he's since moved up in rank- on StarGate SG-1)
And anyone who hasn't seen it should definitely check it out sometime! It airs on both TV Land and Spike!:)
"The Word is No" is great! I loved that song as a child. I still love listening to it on my "Platinum Too" album!
I very clearly remember seeing this song on Sesame Street. Don't remember anything about it being frightening- it was just cool- especially since the music was a great 80s style...
Wow! I used to see the Captain Vegetable song (with the Andy and Eddie) all the time- but I don't recall ever seeing street scenes with him. That's pretty cool!:)
Oh yeah! The MacGyver theme song is awesome! And MacGyver ran from 1985-1992, so it's definitely a 1980s show!:)
If you like, you can watch the opening theme song videos for MacGyver at http://www.macgyveronline.org/pages/fv2.html
(And the lipstick and plastic bracelet is one of the things...

Wow! MacGyver solves Labyrinth! Cool! :)
(This is from an animation site that does a lot of MacGyver animations and this particular one has him helping Sarah defeat Jareth the Goblin King and get through the Labyrinth! It's pretty neat- however, be warned...
