One thing that sort of interests me is that some Muppets used to be different colors: (Ex: Fozzie used to be darker brown; Oscar the Grouch used to be orange) I was wondering, did they have to rebuild the Muppets to change their colors or did they just use some kind of spraypaint or...

Well, it couldn't have been Richard Hunt voicing Statler, because he's not with us anymore, but I know what you're saying. I saw Waldorf and Statler in a "Denny's" commercial and it didn't sound like Dave Goelz and Jerry Nelson doing their voices. I'll have to listen for that again next...

That's not a bad idea, but I'm pretty satisfied with the Timelife videos, since they're uncut and show the UK spots. I don't think they'd do that on Nick and Nite. Still, it's worth considering.

That would be good. It would be nice to see more "Sesame Street" actors show up on the Muppet Show. By the way, I think Alan Arkin and Ruth Buzzi really did guest star on "The Muppet Show," but are on "Sesame Street" now. I just thought I'd add that bit of information. I really liked...

I think one of the moments with Sweetums that I remember best was in "Treasure Island," when he helps the muppets fight the pirates.
Kermit: Thanks, but aren't you fighting against us?
Sweetums: Are you kidding? I love you guys!

I have to agree that as annoying as Elmo is sometimes. I like a lot of Kevin Clash's other characters such as Hoots the Owl, Clifford and Baby Sinclair from "Dinosaurs."

I know who you mean. His name was Bruno. Actually, he did speak once. At the end of "Follow That Bird." Oscar told Bruno where to take him, then Bruno responded "Sure thing, boss." I remember he had sort-of a deep voice.

I remember the "Full House"/"Star Search" episode. That was hilarious. How Joey (Dave Coulier) annoyed everyone by his improvisational comic act. It would be funny to see Fozzie doing the same thing. Also, I really liked your idea of the appearance by Grover. I remember his: HEY...

I don't know. I have tried to correct them on things several times, such as the fact that the information they gave on humans and muppets originally being strictly in seperate sequences on "Sesame Street" was incorrect also they still say that the Road Runner showed up in the cartoon...

Wait a minute. Frank Oz doesn't perform Bert anymore? Who does than? I was also a bit surprised to find that someone else performed Miss Piggy on "Hollywood Squares" and in the Denny's commercial. Is Frank retired or something?

I agree with most of the posts here. I remember watching the show as a kid in the 80s and I pretty much remember Snuffy being "imaginary." I also remember Mr. Hooper, but I'm wondering if maybe I should get a copy of "Unpaved." I'd like to see what things were like on the show in the...
