Drtooth brought up the fact that SHREK was originally intended for like six movies (I've even heard eight at one point), but I think DreamWorks made the right move of ending SHREK when they did; already, it was showing signs of wear and age, and I think had they continued with further movies...
Seriously, could I get some help here please? I'd like to get started soon, but I'd like to have some ideas and suggestions as to what I should do with the construction.
Mayhaps, but it seems like to me that Pixar is simply following the trends rather than be the trendsetters: Pixar practically paved the way for CGI movies before they become obnoxious and the norm, and now that sequels and prequels are an overused money-making gimmick right now, Pixar seems to...
And you know something? That's actually a failing message too. Kids are getting hooked on gadgets like cellphones and tablets at earlier and earlier ages, and we complain that it'll ruin their imagination and ability to amjuse themselves, and yet we don't do anything about it... matter of fact...
I can relate somewhat. :p
But if we're going to go with the stories the songs tell us, then allow me to step back to the year 2012 and dissect "Call Me Maybe,"
So... we have a socially awkward girl who lays eyes on a hunky guy who just moved in next to her, so she acts like she's a hoe...
They're giving NPH another show.
Seriously, give us a break from this guy! And I don't mean that figuratively, I mean that literally, give us a break from this guy! He's not the only working person in Hollywood!
Dori "meets" her parents? Was she adopted? Oh wait... yeah, short-term memory, she probably never remembers who her parents are, kind of like Drew Barrymore's character in 50 First Dates, she never remembers Adam Sandler's character.
Honestly, with the exception of us Muppet Freaks, just about every fandom out there has a number of bad seeds that can tarnish the image of the entire fandom... even The Chipmunks and Arthur have those kinds of bad seeds.
Almost all anime fandoms are like that... they are some of the most obsessive fans I've ever seen, especially Otakus (fangirls)... even the Japanese take offense to the term Otaku.
Whosers are some of the meanest and nastiest fans I've ever dealt with.
We do not need a TOY STORY 4. We don't. I'm sorry, we don't. Unnecessary sequels have already gotten out of hand in the last several years as it is, and TOY STORY 3 can be forgiven because Pixar had been trying for it for years, and they turned it into something special... but the thing of it...
Two questions:
1. Is Jimmy Fallon the most popular thing on YT right now? His vids are always plastered all over the homepage all the time, even though some are months and even years old.
2. Why is, "Call Me Maybe," popular again? Why?
With the exception of some shows doing occasional Thanksgiving episodes (EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND seemed to do one every season), there's really only two relatively obscure Thanksgiving specials that actually come to mind when it comes to thinking of holiday specials in general: A CHARLIE BROWN...
I'm in the process of building two new puppets, but in a change from my usual construction, these characters will actually have some shape to their heads, and as I've said before, I'm just not as good at building puppets as I am performing them, so if anyone here feels like they may be able to...
Today I was reminded that the old saying, "That one vote really doesn't make a difference," is actually true; with the exception of approving wine in grocery stores (like that was a serious issues), everything charter ammendment that should have been voted against passed, so now abortion clinics...
Even though my eating habits aren't too bad, as of today, from now until after the holidays, I'm going on a serious crash diet; I don't put my in front of the camera too often, but I'm appearing in my experimental film that I plan to start shooting sometime in Jan/Feb, and I look absolutely...
According to WGBH, S18E05 isn't scheduled to air until the end of January, and the remaining half of Season 18 doesn't even have scheduled airdates.
This seems... odd...
