Quoting spoilers, so...
I expected to see one of the first two things or some reference to Lex Luthor in the movie's stinger.
Thing is, it didn't have one. And I'm pretty sure I know why.
Green Lantern had a stinger at the end that was to segue to a never made, but clearly better, second...
Here's a good one... numbers being violently disposed of with a special guest star.
But for the love of Pete... you gotta be kidding me... "Charactors?" I know it's hand drawn animation, but SOMEONE should have caught that. It's almost setting a bad example for the kids.
Just saw it and it was nothing short of epic. I really like the Batman Begins-esque way they dealt with his childhood in Smallville. I was a little anxious that it might eat up a bunch of the movie, but they stuck to really important bits. I'd say it was perfectly on par with the Batman...
Seriously. This season showed an episode about Little Red Riding Hood wanting to reinforce a picnic basket from the Big Bad Wolf, followed by the Three Little Pigs wanting to reinforce their house from the Big Bad Wolf. If they're that strapped for story lines and characters, they really need...
If they would get Frank Welker back, that would be EPIC! The other Claw is okay and all, but I miss the original. But it seems Frank is way too pricy (not that he isn't worth it, mind you).
But I'll believe the new Inspector Gadget series when I see it. They better the heck have merchandise...
Elmo's World was basically Sesame Street light. As I said before, it basically uses all the approaches Sesame Street uses to teach a subject, squashed down and simplified. But the thing is, Sesame Street uses those techniques to teach more than one subject at a time. Elmo's World came off too...
I still think if they're desperate for characters that they have to continuously use Fairy Tale stand bys, they need to bring Herry back.
Personally, I want them to recast Sherlock Hemlock. We have the Robert Downy Jr. movies, Sherlock, and Elementary. It's time to bring that character back...
Yeah, but Phineas and Ferb is good. Plus, it was pretty under the radar when it premiered. They seemed to market the fact that Ashley Tinsdale was in it more than the cartoon itself. That's why it took me a couple years to start watching it.
I did until I read the original comics. Not to mention the fact they referred to him as a "he" rarely.
Now he's voiced by Jason Marsden. No gender confusion there.
So far, only Powerpuff Girls. It will feature the comics used in Cartoon Network Starring and the first few issues of their regular series.
But I wouldn't doubt a CN grapich Novel reprint TPB in the future.
Personally, I just want all the Cartoon Netowrk Presents Space Ghost Coast to Coast...
Bump...
IDW's September Solicitations reveal Powerpuff Girls 5 issue miniseries.
Also, a TPB reprinting the original DC comics series.
I'm sure others will appear in time.
The fact they gave away that much in Spider-Man 2 is disgraceful. I know it's the internet where everything gets leaked because everyone is curious, but film studios have to draw the line somewhere. it's killing the movie going experience, and no wonder films are getting reviews saying such...
Oh, Wubbzy is definitely a guy. It's the same thing as Nermal in Garfield and Friends. The voice is far too much like a woman's voice for it to be a male voice. Unlike, say, Nelson Muntz and other Simpsons kids, where the voice actresses do more masculine little boy voices.
Grey uses the...
