Aren't Henson doing this with Fraggle though? I mean nothing was really working for them and all of a sudden you've got Fraggle Rock The Movie and a new Dark Crystal etc. And Henson are jumping onboard late, probably too late with the Fraggle release!
I don't think you can blame companies...
Spanking board games? Yeah i've always thought Bill looks like he'd like to spank a Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit box or two. Those crazy Muffeteers!
Oh and i thought the "Grease - You're The One That I Want" thread was actually "Grease The One That You Want", which could have got messy!
This thread corrupts me. Ever since i came here i keep misreading all the thread titles and things. First there was the nude kermit and piggy dolls, and then there was something else i can't remember, and now i just read a post above as spanking of board games.
Oh right, i must have read it wrong. Theatrical movies take that long, wouldn't suprise me if they have a TV movie or something developed a bit quicker than that though. I'm sure they'll have some big merchandising blitz promotion thing at some point and want some kind of movie thing to back...
It's great that Bill and Brian are teaming up on a script, i wonder if Disney approached them or whether its on Spec. They make a great team. However, it doesn't mean this is any kind of definite or even semi-definite thing - at all times they have scripts coming in from other people...
As long as we can still have Eminem, 50 Cent and Snoop Doggy Dog doing the theme tune with Kelly Clarkson on the triangle i don't care what you do with it Mr Henson. So how will you be trailing this at the Theater, before My Little Pony The Movie or Blair Witch 5?
Oh wow Brian, turning it into a horror movie, thats visionary, home run! Every little child watching this is gonna go to bed thinking all night about how scary the mean Fraggles are, frightened for their lives ..... that's memorable marketing for ya! It's a pleasure to be on the same forum as...
SEE i told you people he was really Brian Henson. HEY BRIAN - You really shouldn't go leaking the plot like this on the internet forums, you know those fans are wierdos who know nothing and will just pick it apart. Hasbro's on the phone about the new Globo and Nokey Frackle dolls they've got...
Just wanna make clear its not that i don't like it - i actually think it sounds pretty cool, the characters look cool and i think it's great they are using CGI (as long as they still do some puppetry) I just think there are better premises for shows out there that kids will be more into than...
I think the idea is that there will be more than 3 characters. I'm not a massive fan of CGI stuff either but it seems to be what kids want to watch right now. I see this being more of a cult thing than a massive kids hit, it doesn't have the right feel about it to have mass kid potential.
There is no new Muppetfest. Creation Entertainment organized Muppetfest on behalf of the Henson's but obviously they've sold the Muppets since. As to whether Disney or anyone else organizes anything at any time, there's no news of anything yet.
No in this newest deal Disney was sold the Muppets lock stock and barrel, for good. Yeah as mentioned the Henson's do make money from it, but they were also to make money from a three year deal to make Muppet programmes and a four year deal to consult on the Muppets, with an option to extend it.
No its not the Skrumps. Ever wonder what the Muppets do behind closed doors, whats happened to em since the last movie? Look around and you might find out!
Yeah i reckon its got legs (chewy rats legs), could call it "The Rat Run" or "The Rat Race", something like that. And at the end it could say "Rats All Folks", lol, i dunno why i'm doing the Henson's work for them here developing this cool new show, for all the thanks i get .... and then they...
