Now what's going on with YouTube?

Now if you watch a video in a playlist, you can't turn autoplay off. At all. They replaced that feature with a new one that puts the whole playlist on repeat play (and why would anyone want to sit there and watch an entire playlist on repeat when you only want to watch a certain video?)

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

What's the deal with Facebook's new search settings? I mean when nine out of ten people, places, groups, pics, vids, whatever you search for turn up, "Sorry, we have no results for you," that sounds a bit like Scrappy Mechanics to me.

    Unofficial Picture Thread!

Yay, lights everywhere downtown! These trees are usually strung up with blue lights... not particularly fond of them switching to clear this year... guess they're trying to be "politically sensitive." Our version of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree...

    TV Tropes

Again, shows switching to color was good enough for a trivia/userful notes trope, but there seemed to be a lot of debate on the subject of indexing shows that switched from SD to HD, because apparently, widescreen, 16:9, and HD are supposedly all three separate thing, and it was confusing people...

    TV Tropes

Well, I've been suspended from TV Tropes. For some reason. Given what's been going on lately, I suspect this has something to do with the YKTTW I was working on indexing shows that switched from 4:3 standard definition to 16:9 high-definition during their initial runs (ala SST in 2008) as a...

    Norman Bridwell passes away

True, but aside from that, he apparently doesn't have much involvement with the production of the show itself; he and his son Tolon are executive producers, but that's about it. But, I digress.

    Norman Bridwell passes away

Well, isn't that a shame. I actually wonder, though, how much involvement, if any, he had with the PBS series, upon learning that Marc Brown isn't too incredibly involved with PBS ARTHUR. Maybe I don't remember much about the books from when I was a little kid, but I don't remember much of the...

    The New New Quote Thread

Quarky has been exposed to nuclear material, and is now glowing green. QUARKY: Daddy... what's happening to me? BILL THE LAB GUY: Haha! Don't worry, sweetheart, it's called puberty; your body is changing in strange and wonderful ways. Lasers shoot out of Quarky's eyes, dividing Bill in half...

Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

I thought FRED CLAUS looked like a stupid movie to begin with, but danged if that movie didn't steal its entire score from MOUSEHUNT, and I mean its entire score.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

They're not all sped up. Many from the first two seasons and a few from the third are, but the reason for that being wasn't so much because I didn't think people wanted to waste three hours watching the whole thing, but mainly because I was still using Movie Maker at the time (it's only been...

Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

Ugh. I tried giving #5 a chance, if only because it took the approach that #3 did by bringing in a different cast of characters, but gah, the acting was so bad from everybody (the kids and the adults), I had to change the channel after just three minutes.

Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

Getting back on the subject of HOME ALONE, I have the Family Fun Edition on DVD (I wish they did one for number two and three as well), and there's a lot of mention in the special features, such as the commentary with Chris Columbus and some of the behind-the-scenes featurettes that the movie...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

And now it's unblocked... what in the world was that all about? Ehh... maybe it may have been someone beneficial that I individually reuploaded the Season 1-5 episodes that weren't migrated from my old channel for people's convenience.

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

Wait... Jennifer Aniston is actually doing something different for a change? I can't believe it, I thought she was perpetually the thirtysomething, single, unlucky-at-love, hopeless romantic?

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

Oy... I know Dr. Oz is a surgeon, but why does he and his team think we actually want to watch the surgeries they do on TV? I mean, open-heart surgery... yeah, that's what I wanted to see before lunch today... And yet, we're supposedly not allowed to show people drinking or smoking on TV anymore.
