Hey one more thought... for those of us who cannot record to the internet, perhaps there will be a place to just post photos... kind of post cards of the puppets adventure. I also saw someone on here say they were not a puppeteer and this might be a way to accomadate those that want to be...

My thought was he would get distracted by the location and the realize at the end that he just missed his friend.

ooo... how about he is looking for a long lost friend. Everytime he gets to a new place though his friend has moved on. Or we could have him on an amazing race type scavenger hunt. Or he's searching for the ultimate question to the ultimate answer to the meaning of life.

Hah hah... I have a blog online that supposedly is written by a puppet and he complains that there are no puppet characters on Lost.

Hmmm.. I would say male would be a good. I like the idea of some type of moster (probably because I checked out that link with the consumer monster).

I'm excited about this but getting impatient for more info.

Oh I'm so glad there are more people on board with this project. I just have to find someone to help me make the puppet and to help me with the filming for online and I'm good.

Really tempted too bid on these... 100 dollars for two puppets is not bad... wish I could see them in person first though.

A cheap way to practice with a monitor... I bought a 50 buck karoake cam that plugs into a vcr... I use it to prctice puppetry and so that the puppet team I direct can watch while they perform. I also use it as a standard video camera to review performances and practices.

some puppets are covered with velour... kind of a stage curtain fabric.

I saw somewhere where 2 puppeteers got maried and they had all the guests bring puppets or vent dummies

I like the idea of a new female character... something I feel the muppets have lacked... maybe something with a more quiet temperment than piggy.
