I don't know if anyone else spotted this but in the March 20th issue of Time Magazine there is a two page ad for the Ford Escape Hybrid featuring Kermit. It shows the car and has Kermit next to (wait up). It has the slogan from the TV comercials too ("I guess it is easy being green.")

No they don't but I was thinking that their comedy improv style could be done easily with puppets. You should check out their website and see how they are set up..... I was actually thinking whatever you decide to do you could maybe test run in places that are already established before you look...

I'm not kidding actually....Comedy Sportz started here and has become quite large.... and personally I think puppets are making a comeback all over the country.....

I love this idea... Out here in Wisconsin we have comedy sportz where you can order food while you watch improv. comedy.....I thought it would be fun to do improv like this with puppets. Maybe you should gear your idea towards improv. (no scripts would be needed then just ideas for improv...

That would make sense...the funny thing is the video I used to test you tube with was about 2 minutes.... so I can see why it would take so long....I'll try a shorter video then...thanks.

My problem is once I load it the sound moves faster than the video. The video seems to lag behind somewhat throwing the sound off.... my lip synch doesn't match the sound well (with sound being recorded by the camera's microphone). The video does look fine on my computer (it is a quicktime file).

Hmmm.... I can't seem to get the sound and video to link up right when I upload videos to you tube (or any other service for that matter).... any tips.

Not quite surehow this works yet (I'll have to reread all the posts here) but I did sign up at you tube in case I decide to participate as I think it is a great idea.

Thanks for the tip on the lighting.....I know with the memory card I have I can do about 15 minutes on my camera..... so maybe a cheap digital with a good memory card will work for you.

I've just been using the video option on my kodak digital camera...obviously not very professional quaility.... but you can check out my myspace site and see what you thinbk (the intro video on the profile gives you a better feel for quality than what is in the blogs as the site hosting the blog...

The video is working now...it is great...simple and funny....I especially like the simple part.
