But much like the Mask example, it didn't make him a different person. he was still a bad guy, now he's more threatening because he's larger and more powerful. His goal didn't change, he didn't get sidetracked, and most of all, he didn't exactly become a twitchy, nervous, violent freak. He...
I'm well versed in that one. Comedy is much harder than drama. Drama is simple. Kill someone and have someone cry over swelling music. It's almost Pavlovian a response. All you have to do is not ham it up and try way too hard that it turns into Narm, and you got a drama.
Comedy is so...
Trust me. The flavor and texture is like some unholy cross between Cheerios and Kix, both without any of their sugary notes that give them a pleasant enough flavor.
Sugar is an ingredient in the Sesame cereals, don't get me wrong, but somehow, it's like they take a big Olympic swimming pool...
To expand on what I said a while ago...
I miss them not talking about engineering. Seriously... ever see Lever Lover (I want to resist saying "Sorry Paul :sympathy:")? It's basically the most random (and not in that good a way) you can get...
It's not a bad song, but... :"ELMO! You gave...
I'm gonna say Glee ruined Don't Stop Believing. It's probably overused... but it's most overused in reference to that show. Even on Sesame Street with the parody, Jimmy Hart version.
Was Mahna Mahna even meant to be a regular character is my question. Seems like a character Jim used like one other time on Ed Sullivan because he didn't have a huge roster of characters in the old days. The character was created to do that one song, so I just can't say the character is...
I'm really glad they didn't use the Statler and Waldorf ending. First of all, that was exactly the same as the Stars and Street special, where Oscar saves the street. Statler and Waldorf saving the theater should have happened in VMX. It would have worked better there.
While I'd love to rip...
I've only seen Youtube footage of their concert with one of the Puppet versions of the Homestar Runner characters. 90% sure it was Strongbad. But awesome stuff. I wanna get the DVD of their TV show so I can actually watch the thing.
The second film had such an obvious sequel hook, and the third will most likely follow up on that (the search for Po's family). I find KFP Dreamworks's best franchise, and I have high hopes for the third one. The cartoon series is pretty good too. I just hope they decide to end it at 3.
Those have flavor. These don't.
They taste more like Cheerios with less sweetness. I relent that they're clearly formulated for toddlers, and they really shouldn't have much sugar. Still, it would have been nice if the Cookie cereal tasted like Banana without having to cut up bananas into...
Dreamworks has a habit of deciding upon sequels the second they have a good box office opening and subsequent weekend. Croods was the most successful film Dreamworks has had since Madagascar 3... and considering Turbo's lackluster performance, probably the last one they'll have for a while...
Ty stepped in for Christopher Waltz (sp?) who wound up having a cameo in the movie anyway. Strangely enough, Ty also stepped in for Robert Downey Jr. backing down off of Peabody and Sherman which, even stranger, comes out the same month.
The Scrubs cameo bugs me because it was made too soon...
Another one because they make money.
There's a fallacy that they make sequels and remakes because Hollywood has run out of ideas. Frankly, ideas were already run out centuries ago in myths, legends, epic poems, fairy tales, theater... wouldn't be surprised if most tropes were considered...
And his new commercial has a lovely little cheap political potshot/Libertarian paranoia fuel about how you "can look forward to 4 more years of heavy taxing." He's not just an epileptic CGI nightmare, but a jerkanus too.
But yeah... Retro Commercials have a nice bit of camp to them that make...
Your guess is as good as mine as to why. Perhaps it has dual audio tracks or something? This whole segment is a mystery. Clearly this was meant to be bundled with other segments for international Sesame Street programming. Certain other countries that get the show only get half hour versions...
It made a crapload of money. It made 50 million over the budget domestically and 500 million internationally. The movie wasn't as bad as I thought it was, but it still suffers from having a stupid premise and being a typical kid's film. The second one looks at least slightly better. I just...
