I don't see why pollution and drug abuse shouldn't be considered sins to a certain degree. There's nothing good about destroying the world or destroying your life (and the lives of others) with destructive behavior. We let too many things go in our culture. You can't always do whatever you want...
Happy Birthday, Marty!
I really enjoyed seeing him at The Paley Center for Media's premiere of "The World According to Sesame Street" documentary. It was the first time I've ever really seen a Muppet performed live. :)
Thanks! Yeah hopefully the pet thing will work out. :)
Oh yeah sometimes I have fun when writing, it's just a matter of actually sitting down and doing it. lol
Also not feeling well at the moment, I have the worst stomach ache! Right now Lambie's keeping me company, hehe.
With Transformers, the autobots were really good, but they barely had enough screen time! Plus the humans in the story were just awful, completely devoid of any decency. But then again, perhaps that was the point, that the world needed some heroes. Here's my opinion as I posted it in my blog...
Comedy Central might be a better fit for Scrubs. And I have to say, I didn't watch it at first, but once I gave it a chance I realized it's one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time.
I can't believe we have roughly 101,376 views!
(And yet we're still behind the kiss hug thread, what's up with that? ! Hehe ;))
Anyway, I'm really hoping to have another dog soon, it looks like we might be trying for a Cocker Spaniel. It's really exciting! At the same time though, I'm...
I loved Muppet Babies, and I knew who Jim Henson and Frank Oz were at the time. I thought all the Muppet stuff was great, cartoon or puppet. Muppet Babies never discouraged me from liking the puppet Muppets. And it's not like it was Barney, it was a very clever show. ;)
Though that's cool...
My last dog was extremely friendly to people (never to other dogs hehe), but yeah, not much of a cuddler. She just wanted you to pet her like crazy and then help her fetch a ball. :)
Sorry the test was so stressful, I'm sure you'll be fine next time, if not for this one. :)
That's so great about your new dog, MN! I look forward to hearing more!
OK, just a quick interruption, at the RHLC we were pondering on how random the topics we discuss can get. And we came up with the notion that Richard is sitting on a cloud somewhere with one of those Twister board things with the arrows and the spaces. And you know, on the spaces are various...
Oh wow, you're right, LOL. I guess it's a unconscious need concocted by our subconscious mind to compensate for the overt hostility of our adolescents and...
...Um...I guess what I'm trying to say is...we all had weird childhoods? ? ?
...I think someone is playing with that discussion topic...
Aww, that almost makes me sad thinking of a Gorg in a cage! lol
Yeah I think my subconsious is still in VCR mood too sometimes. Old habits die hard, hehe.
