I'm not sure. Heck, I didn't know about it until I saw it about two years ago in my art class. Lol. It was probably around 1987, since that's when the Muppets turned 30.

I really hadn't thought about the fact that Elmo had two different performers. I sort of thought Richard's Elmo, was used before the character was Elmo (just a generic monster character). I remember seeing Elmo on the show when I was young, but I didn't realize he had been played by two...

Since when did the role-play game begin again? Or shall I say--
Hey, man. What's the haps? We ain't got time to fool around. We've gotta get ready for our next gig!
Here's another good one:
After Debbie Harry sings "One Way or Another:"
Statler: I wonder who she was looking for.
Waldorf: Probably the guy that booked her on this crummy show.

I hadn't really thought of that much. I'll have to listen more carefully for that. I think in the case of Fozzie it might have been the other way around. I've noticed in the Vincent Price episode from Season 1, Fozzie sounded a little more gruff than usual in quite a few of his lines.

Also, I saw Sully on the 'Sesame Street: 25th Anniversary Special.' He was in the intro with Barbara Walters. I don't know who did the pupateering though.

Yeah. That's what I thought. They wouldn't give Frank credit for something he didn't do. And I agree that Eric's Fozzie's really good. Same with his Miss Piggy. Now, if they could just find a better voice for Animal or Sam the Eagle...

That's good, Barry. Are you going to make a transcript of that particular "Pigs in Space" or are you going to work on a new one. That sounds like a good idea. I could hear Link and Dr. Strangepork completely ignoring Fozzie. Lol.

Just a few notes there. I can tell just by listening to the voice Fozzie was done by Oz in MTI. Also, he had to have done at least a little bit of Fozzie in MFS, because he receives credit for that. Also, I think I heard that Frank did all his characters the whole time on MCC. I do...

I don't know. Let's use this comparison. Casey Kasem stopped performing the voice Shaggy on Scooby-Doo for the direct-to-video movies, but he returned to do the voice on the new series. (Sorry, Punk, I know you don't like the show, but I thought I'd use this as an example.) So Frank...

Yeah. That's food for thought. It also would have been interesting to see a Baby Swedish Chef or a Baby Lew Zealand. Maybe even a Baby Sam the Eagle.

That was originally from the Bob Hope episode. I was sort of shocked that they didn't use the original opening credits for the Vincent Price episode. I didn't think Time Life cut anything out. Oh, well. Seeing a first season episode without it's original opening credits is better...

I know we've had a thread like this before, but that's okay. I've thought of more S & W quotes from last time. By the way, Extell. Were you referring to the opening from the Harry Belafonte episode? Because they have been seen in that episode even after they say that. Just thought...

Yeah. Me too. The new characters must have appeared at the time I stopped watching the show. I wonder why they didn't have the Electric Mayhem there originally (well, except for Animal). I guess they considered how hip and groovy those characters were on TMS and it was hard to...

I was thinking the same thing. At the time Muppet Babies was made, people knew who Janice was, but no one knew Scooter had a sister. I didn't see that episode of "Muppet Babies" where Janice appeared. Was she still sort of a valley girl in that?

So, that's good. So we will still have Jerry in later productions? That's good. He's one of the few original Muppateers we have left. Well, along with Dave Goelz and Steve Whitemire.
