Sesame Street at A Capital Fourth

I just watched the special on my DVR and I thought their appearance was good, but I couldn't help but notice that the kids in the crowd didn't seem too enthused to see the SS gang.

Sesame Street at A Capital Fourth

Just because they didn't do enough "classic" songs to suit your own needs? That's a very bias opinion.

    New Zoe puppet, False?

I email Fran Brill the other day about the smaller Zoe puppet being the new one and received this today: "Thanks for your concern! I don't think so. We were experimenting but the original Zoe got upset and we don't want to hurt her feelings. Best, Fran" Clearly, she's joking at the end...

Your Thoughts: The New Electric Company

You know what just occurred to me? The show uses rap to teach grammer, but rap is known for its lack thereof.

It looks awesome! My main problem is the covers. They look like a really bad Photoshop project.

    Seussical

The Joey was performed by the Sour Kanagroo holding on one of her hands and just nodding its head to simulate singing.

    Seussical

I just did Seussical a couple of months ago and we had a puppet of the Joey(albeit a shoddy, not-mouth-moving one; made from a poodle doll). The only puppet I can really see being used in the show is the Elephant-Bird at the end.

    Any big Murray fans?

I like Murray also, and it's great that Joey finally has a strong, stable, prominent character to play, but I feel they shoved him into the spotlight to quickly. I mean, he started hosting the cold openings, but now he has his own 6-minute segment in every episode. I think they're rushing him in.
