This guy recreated a digital replica of the SST set (circa 1970), and I have to say, he did a pretty dang good job; the attention to detail is astounding, this looks almost like the actual set.

I keep seeing schmuck internet celebrities getting TV deals all over the place, and I keep wondering when is it going to be my turn? Not counting Steve's show which I was close to actually making happen, I'm sitting on top of eight different show concepts that I've had outlined as far back as...
I really have killed this thread, haven't I? I mean, seriously, the last two pages of this thread are almost all posts by me.
Anyway, apparently one of the co-creators of HOGAN'S HEROES produced THE GODFATHER. Wow, you talk about two very different forms of entertainment.
I'm sorry . . . does Will Ferrell really deserve a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Sure he's done a lot of movies, but really, he's only done like one movie that was actually any good, and it's one of those movies that I like but everybody else here hates.
What's the deal with Instagram? I mean, you can't even use it unless you do it all from your phone, and the images that are on Instagram look like crap anyway, because phones don't take very good pictures (and also non-cellphone pics appear to be compressed all to heck as well). Anybody remember...
Holy crap, there's actually a YTP Wiki. For realsies!

None of my poops seem to have made the cut, but surely some of Drtooth's has to be in there somewhere, considering his are really the gold standard of YTPs.
Oddly enough, stuff like this rarely, if ever, fazed me as a kid. Really, it actually took a lot to weird me out - a lot.
Just about the only thing that scared the crap out of me as a kid was the V of Doom.
Back on the subject of disabled characters, since Linda's been gone from SST for a long time, what if ARTHUR had a deaf character? ARTHUR seems to handle its disabled characters very well (from what I've heard, they consulted with a blind person when WGBH mandated Marina), and considering one of...
So, there's a charcoal commercial that makes winter out to be like war.
A man who's wrapped up in his pajamas and an oversized coat is walked over to a neighbor's grill, where he's apparently suffering shell shock (excuse me, post-traumatic stress disorder) over winter, and the neighbors have...
I know this is the our Christmas thread, but this is also sort of our go-to thread for discussing when certainly holidays are being forced upon us far earlier than before they actually happen . . . and it's already happening.
We still have roughly a week left of March, we haven't even had...
I think I've mentioned it before, but I've found that this season to be really "meh" at best.
Even though one of the original writers has returned this season, his episodes have been good at recapturing the spirit of the earlier seasons and episodes, but the resolutions have really fallen...
Have I killed this thread or something?
Anyway, watching WatchMojo's to 10 reasons why Justin Bieber is hated, I actually learned that -- the Great Wall of China really isn't visible from space. I feel so disheartened. :p
Looking at PBS schedules through May, there still isn't any airdates scheduled for the remaining Season 18 episodes, which is odd, considering May is usually when the latter half of the new seasons air.
Of course, they've already been aired overseas, naturally. The episode with Rattles is...
Even though I don't watch Nick@Nite, why is HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER on it? It just ended, it's not even an old show, and it's already on like 3-4 other channels, what sense does this make?
