Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 40

Well, it's not as bad as when Elmo's World debuted. Each week, the same episode would be played for every episode. And there was 65 episodes!

The CHRISTMAS on Muppet Central Forum thread

Okay, I think now I ensured that I'm gonna get the 40 years DVD as a late gift. ;)

The CHRISTMAS on Muppet Central Forum thread

Wow! That's great! If your WMM is still acting up, just let me know and I'll see if I can edit things for you. ;) EDIT: I did get some good stuff, including Letters to Santa and the 40 Years book. I had asked for the 40 Years DVD, but it looks like I'll have to try and get that on my own.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 40

To me, the best format since the 2002 change is the one used in season 38. It was still structured, but still unpredictable. Plus, we got more non-Muppet cartoons/films in five episodes than we would a whole season. Season 39 sort of had it, but adding Murray and His Little Lamb every day didn't...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street 40 Years DVD Box Set

It's not "peskal", it's "pestle". It's a pun on the phrase "pistol-packin' mama". A pestle is used to grind up things, including things for medicine.

    Project: Snowth - The Thread

That's great anyway! I'm sure you'll find someway to get the master-tapes of the shows on the interweb for us to see.

Your Thoughts: The Muppets on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"

Wow, that was great! It was a near exact remake of the John Denver version, but this was nice too. Robin's voice was the only thing that bothered me really. And I loved Piggy's hair!

Has Cookie Monster ever gotten angry?

I guess the imaginary temper tantrum he had in that Prairie Dawn sketch could count.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 40

Well, the ones now are certainly better than the season 38 ones. Adding Muppet helpers really made them funnier. I think my favorite one so far is the "Machine" explanation, solely for the most-likely, ad-libbed ending.

The ending to this episode of Sesame English made my head hurt for it's sheer lack of comprehension.

I just remembered one: When people complain Cookie Monster is now the Veggie Monster. I swear, in English earlier this year, 3 students just found out that were obsessed with it.

    Youtube trouble.

They're most likely doing site maintenance, and adding comments, ratings and uploading is disabled until they're done.

    Top Annoying Misnaming People Do

For me: -When my friend calls Animal "Monster" -When people call S&W "the two old guys from the Muppet Show" My second grade teacher thought their names were "Heckle and Jeckle" -When people call it "Elmo's Wolrd" instead of "Sesame Street"
