If anyone wants to know, my video may be postponed. My DVD/VCR player is acting up again and it won't even recognize DVDs that I use to burn, so if I can't remedy it, I'll have to upload an incomplete completion. *GASP!*
I agree with SSLFan, a lot of the characters have been skimped out this season. Grover, who usually appears in nearly every episode, made half of his appearences in background musical numbers and short cameos in Word of the Day bits. And I'm really peeved Prairie Dawn made ONE appearance outside...
For me, I'm surprised as to what segments they used. And while, yes, they repeated A LOT of new material, there were still some repeated stuff not used in awhile. I was surprised to see the "Romeo and Alphabet" sketch re-air.
I'm pretty sure the last time the CTW logo appeared was in the episode where Felix the Grouch visits. As I recall, the sponsors were displayed in a yucky-looking font, which Felix cleaned away with his umbrella and the CTW was written and cleaned away.
Season 40 ends the 18th, this week.
I'm pretty sure that SW made an agreement with Disney that they are allowed to show past Kermit material in their archives, but need permission to make new material with him (i.e Elmo's World: Frogs). Judging by the Henson Christmas special DVDs, they clearly don't have the same deal.
