*Appreciating the joke made by Scooter about Go Beau and Gobo, there comes a bellowing aloud from the bear...*
GOBO/GO BEAU!! HAAAWOCKAA!! HAAA!! FUNNEEEEE!!
*Realizing what he just did...*
Wha'? Sorry!
*In the next room, Haffa and the exec's--having heard Fozzie's loud...
Hiya!
Well, I think that the new NBC Christmas movie had humor in it that was alot like TMS humor...but without the laugh tracks! If he bases his ideas on how The Muppets should be run on that movie, and even moreso on TMS, he'll be going in the right direction.
Like I've always said...
At the next MF2 I would like to see them do the character voice thing, but with the band and the folks (us at MC or whatever) doing the character voices...but that's kinda silly, I know...
FLOYD! We can't BUY anything, we're broke right now!! At least until Valentine's Day (get it??!)
Beau, go ahead and be the diversion! We'll be here to run in and nab our friends and then we're outta here!
*Grabs his rubber chicken!*
It's cool, Luke--I thought you were getting onto me. I tucked my tail!!
According to the current report at MC News, the value of the JHC is about $125 million, so that would equal out to $500/person if 250,000 people want to get together to buy the company!!
Unless they include tax in that...
I think Rowlf is great! He's calm and patient, artistic and intelligent, and VERY wise-cracking (ie, the time he played piano for Miss Piggy's Foo Foo act on TMS).
I'm not so sure, but if there were no Kermit or Fozzie, I would want to be Rowlf.
He's also the character we fans seem to...
But...Disney...ew...
I'd rather we all owned them instead of Disney. Not that us owning them would be a bad thing.
MUPPET FANS UNTIE!!
Or, is that "unite?"
Depends on the condition of the book at this date.
I was at a flea market recently and one of my friends came up and said, "There's a book over there for $5 and is in superb condition." It was an old reprint of comic strips IN COLOR, unsure what book it was, but I ran over and some woman had...
$600 times 250,000 fans equals $150million. I'm SURE there's 250,000 fans. Not just from MC.
Then again, talk about power struggles between 2 or 3 companies, imagine that PLUS 250,000 people...
UNLESS, the 250,000 voted as an association and created a president, vp, secretary, and...
Oops...I created a monster. I guess my check ain't in the mail after all. But, I'll take a cool job at Palisades. What can I do out there? I'm a good people person, um, I cartoon my own characters, build and perform my own puppets, play with toys, change toilet paper rolls (scratch that)...
I feel okay with the Valentine deal, not the way I did with EM.TV. I only hope things work out. I like the quote Cory gave us, but still am worried until I see results...which will be...when? Forever?
At any rate, the remaining share of EM.TV is less costly now, and we fans should get our...
No, no, Scooter! Beau's got a GREAT idea!! He'll be the diversion of all of the executives and when they look at him, we'll run in and get Kermit and Janice!!
So, Beau, when you run in what do you plan to do?
But I did!
REALLY!!
"But, didn't I say in the very beginning of all this EM.TV garbage that this would happen? Why, oh, WHY did the Henson children do this thing? To get back into creativity as they said, or did they see "$$" in their eyes?"
And don't forget I have also mentioned smacking...
I think with the percentage buy-out the event would be good for raising public awareness of the JHC and the Muppets quality of entertainment during this time so the people in the fandom world won't be put-off by the news, disturbing as it seems, which may still hold hope for our desires of the...
