it amazes me how powerpuf girls are still big on cable and now have their own movie, when wayyyy more edgier and cooler stuff like invader zim and non kiddy anime (powerpuff is just a cheap rip on the anime thing) gets put into late night or obscure time slots. grrrrr
ok, thats weird. on ebay I see there are two versions of vc beaker from the con, one is bagged with no accessory, and one is boxed with the tube. the boxed one is sooo much better IMHO. i know the bagged ones are more limited' but im sorry i would so have to have the boxed one! so, the vc...
and, speaking of fr cameos in muppet films, supposedly word has it in juhl's original script it called for a uncle matt cameo on cape doom. just another sad thing about mfs, no 'other' muppet universe characters(fr, sesame, etc) cameos like in other muppet films.
I vote muppet special too. Do you remember, around the fr vhs licence with disney in 93, they came out with several muppet 'specials'? one had the mtm bears and bean bunny doing hip hop. I mean I know they put in way more effort with ksy, but still it has that feel to it than an actual movie...
>>>It has been reported by Buena Vista Home Video that they do have a version of MTI that is anamorphic widescreen but chose not to use it.<<<<
Its sad to think they opted not for even a widescreen option, just because theres some average joe and jane popcorn that dont like letterboxes. boo...
to Ken: *other* Palisades stuff
Hey Ken!
Perhaps theres not many people on here who know about Palisades *other* products(Yes, they do stuff other than Muppets!) and I just wanted to be the first on here to compliment you guys on non TMS stuff. I went to the comic store yesterday
and...
>>>I just think that it's stupid and confusing that they have different formats for these things. Europe has PAL, we have NcST PH. D. E I E I O or something. That drives me nuts to no extent<<<
thats true, but with a dvd player like daewoo or any number of off brand names, theres no such...
Sesame needed some BIG changes in character placements, thankfully that came in 1993 with the introduction of great characters like Zoe, Rosita, and Baby Bear. Zoe rocks, so does Grundgetta. We need all the female Muppets they can dish out, as there hardly is any

THANK GOODNESS FOR REGION FREE PLAYERS!
Hey Warrick!
This is the news I've been waiting for! Unlike most people, I dont care at all about an american release, as I have a master dvd player (ie: can play every single media format on a shiny disc) that has region free. Folks, this might be...
to ken about future beaker variants:
Hey Ken, you once mentioned how youd like to do a shrinking(or shrink ray?) Beaker where hed come with a shrink ray and a smaller pvc of Beaker. Is anything like that in the works, or other Muppet labs add-ons/variants?
Now this may have been touched...
As the resident expert on all things Beaker, Beaker's propensity to get blown up and all sorts of wacky mischief is hi sundying love for science and expansion for Muppet Labs. I think its the resulting comic fodder that ensues that keeps the meepster coming back for more punishment.
>>>It's...
did somebody say invader zim???
>>>Ken since you are in the Industry do you know if any company has considered producing a line of Invader Zim action figures? If not why? If so who?<<<
Ok, ya just caught my attention! As an authoirty on all things jhonen vasquez, jthm, and invader...
>>>They are not kids stuff so with having them with one of the hippest bands of the day (Yes Weezer are kind of dorky but hip dorky)<<<
yeah, i remember back in my day geeky and nerdy could get ya beat up, but when the mid nineties alternative thing came in, the college emo indie alternative...
>>I completely agree with this statement. I think Muppet improv would be absolutely hilarious. Maybe they could do something like Christopher Guest's "Waiting For Guffman" and "Best of Show" where they have a loose story, but everything is filled in between with improvisation.
oh man!!! that...
