So have these aired yet, and were they actually filmed for Disney Channel? As i heard a bunch of new Muppet stuff was filmed for Disney XD and was wondering if this was it or we have something else to look forward to.
Needless to say i'm shocked about these breaking news developments from the north pole, and glad Frosty and Steve are on the case. I was wondering over the year what Steve Snowball has been doing with his time off so good to see him back. I will be hanging my christmas lights in support!
Nice to see the Christmas music marathon run for a long time this year, i think that and the menus make this site really great to visit for a cool Christmas Muppety experience!
It wasn't a hoax as KermieUK is a long time member here, but it could possibly be something that was pulled at the protoype stage. That might explain why none of the customer services know anything about it. I hope we will still see it, looks great!
I would go with the Count, i was finding that top link useful, a great help in seeing what was playing. I think mid down might look a bit intrusive and not as neatly positioned.
Saying that, it now isn't showing up at all here, and the bottom ad banner is just blank most of the time as well.
I really didn't think Burton's Wonka stuck anymore to the book than the original movie. Infact i thought it went further off. I enjoyed it but was expecting more -effects and casting were good though. The original seemed more in the style of what i would expect from a movie based on that book.
Know you weren't posting to me, but you are so right, i had never thought of it that way when i posted before. It is introducing the kids to them just as much as anything else, so maybe they need to be promoting it more so that kids want to go see it in the parks. I had kinda seen it on the...
They may see it as a bit tired on a different level. OK some of those other rides have been there longer but they're usually based on properties that Disney have kept in the public eye as classics like Sleeping Beauty/Cinderella. If a kid see's a movie based on the Muppet Show how can he/she...
I think you're right. As the companies have become more commercialized and not part of the Henson family, its more about getting a professional job done, on budget than arranging certain things for traditions sake which are gonna take time and cost more money.
It'd be nice if they got him to...
My advice to you, as most important than anything else is to have him sign an agreement stating that he is licensed to use the puppets for the TV broadcast of that show only, and anything else, ie merchandising, home distribution and any other licensing rights are excluded. Also have it put in...
You have completely the wrong attitude, Muppet fans should never settle for shoddy product. The company has shown they are capable of doing better (even with Gonzo) and know the way they are doing this is not how it really should be done. It's not a "few" people complaining, they know...
What did it for me with Wonka was the whole Dentist thing, with the dad and returning to him at the end. Not in the book, not in the original film, and kinda unnecassary idea. Everything else was ok for me Burton wise, but yes a few more nods to the film would have been nice.
I think it's...
I think it will do steady business over time, what with families over the holiday season, but i can see why the plot looks thin. They usually do with these kinda movies - i was a bit dissapointed with how they handled Willy Wonka too. There needs to be a better variety of warm fuzzy family...
