*Sweetums and I arrive to the awards ceremony in a huff*
I knew we'd catch up to you guys!......
*crickets chirping as George sweeps up*
Me: Wow! George, you came out of retirement for this gig?
George: Yeah, well my checks have been so little from the government lately- so I'm getting...
Exactly. I do try to do just that.
And I do associate with a pretty wide variety of people.
Thanks for everyone's honest replies and different points of view.
Jesus welcomes everyone- but He never excused anyone's wrongs. He didn't condemn people, but He did tell them to go and sin no more...
Sounds cool. While I like Elmo just fine, I would certainly welcome a change to the format with something other than Elmo's World capping off Sesame Street for once.
If you see this online as a status post, "we are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love"
and your first reaction is that it sounds like what Gonzo put on...
I'm still not sure how stating that I'm on the same level as anyone else spiritually-speaking implies that I'm somehow better than anyone. This is definitely a Biblically-based belief system, but grammatically-speaking, it is an extra unnecessary step to state that this particular belief is from...
The only copies you own of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" are the novelizations of the Muppet film versions.
(And these are in fact the only copies you've ever read, preferring the Muppets' take over the actual original book.;))...
I personally really enjoyed Superman Returns! It was great finally seeing a Superman movie in theaters! (Of course, I didn't care for the Superkid thing- I really thought that was rather unnecessary.) And I absolutely loved the spiritually-resonating line Superman says- "You wrote that the world...
Fraggle Rock: The Animated Series, of course!
(Because I grew up with both the live action Fraggle Rock and the cartoon and I love them both- and it's really cool having them all on DVD now!:excited::coy:)
And I also recently got

Definitely agree with you there. It's good to have at least some exposure to the rest of the world and have some knowledge of other countries and cultures besides your own. I'm certainly interested in that. It would be great if Sesame Street showed some clips from their international versions...
Maybe they could get really crazy and even take at least just one episode out of a given season and dedicate it to a particular Sesame Street Muppet of the past for the Street storyline. (And perhaps also use old sketches and songs with that character in it for filler.) I mean, wouldn't it be...
I also love how Bert goes from acting all annoyed with Ernie, but then eventually comes around to liking and really getting into Ernie's game or song, etc. (sometimes even more so than Ernie!)
The Rhyming Game particularly comes to mind- "Hey there lamppost- that's a nice shade. You. It's not...
It may just be part of the script, but yeah- it may well be Allison's personal favorite as well. It's definitely one of my favorite Ernie and Bert sketches- I remember this one well from childhood- it was definitely a bit scary and creepy at first, but I got over that.:(:p
It's not scary to me that the Muppets may have had gay roots. The Muppets are what you want them to be- which is what I meant about that shirt. It doesn't have to be gay necessarily, but it's obviously taken to represent that to some. And I can understand that there is a market for gay people...
Abby's technically a fairy, so I honestly don't think of it quite as witchcraft, though I know it technically falls in with that same category in general. It's kinda like how somehow it's okay to watch "I Dream of Jeannie" because she's just a genie, but we can't watch "Bewitched" because she's...
It wouldn't have been nearly as funny if it was just Beaker singing the song. The joke was definitely in all the comments coming up on screen- all the "flaming" that was going on- that Beaker was taking quite literally to heart.
First off, it may well be an unauthorized shirt. I can certainly believe that. If it's not, or even it is, I still believe that shirt is as gay as you want it to be. Sometimes a rose is just a rose.
It can be just two best friends and a rainbow, symbolizing the sunny days that are enjoyed on...
I haven't really seen too much of The Hoobs, but it's always nice to see another Henson show coming to DVD.
(Though if I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure I've seen this show on Playhouse Disney at some point.)
