I don't think I would say I ever root for the villians, but I understand what you mean. Shredder and Krang and Bebop and Rocksteady particularly come to mind just because they were so hilarious in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". (Although in Season 8, things did get a little more serious.)...
Oh yeah- I've seen this series out and I do enjoy those comics too. I've read some of the Carl Barks classics- the Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck comics are great. The DuckTales cartoon was such a great translation (for the most part) of those comics- I love both.:)
Oscar has some hilarious nicknames! I remember a number of these, but some I hadn't heard, particularly Forgetful Jones and Kermit. Is the "Green Beans" nickname from the 1988 Sesame Street special perhaps? I can't think of many other times that Oscar and Kermit have really interacted, although...
A Darkwing Duck comic? Wow- hadn't seen anything for that property since Disney's mini-series back in the early '90s and the occasional appearances in "The Disney Afternoon". Cool- I've just recently been watching some of that cartoon too. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.:)
(But hey- if...
An official press release is always good to hear- that helps assure me that this project isn't dead in the water just yet. Hopefully "The Power of the Dark Crystal" will get made soon. And the plotline sounds pretty interesting.:scary:
Godspell is a great musical! I really enjoyed watching it- except for me as a Christian, it was one of those movies where I didn't know if I should be laughing or kinda offended. LOL:)
But nonetheless, the Gospel does get across and Jesus' parables and the Sermon on the Mount come across in a...
Well, I was excited for a Smurfs movie- now hearing what the direction seems to be for the movie- the excitement is waning. Nonetheless, I think I'll have to see some trailers to see what it's gonna shape up to be. I imagine I'll wind up seeing it eventually, but if it's a really stupid version...
Even without knowing the Heroes reference, that little bit was funny. I was thinking maybe it was referencing that all the puppets were decaying from years of disuse. (i.e. Luncheon Counter Monster, etc.)
In any case, to get to the original topic, I saw this comic in the comic book shop and...
Sad. It's things like this that make me wish guns didn't exist at all. But it doesn't matter- you can't blame it just on a gun. It's who's using it and how it's used. And even without guns, people find other ways to kill. I just wish people troubled like that would find real love- it's the...
