I don't normally care much for Will Ferrel and his movies, but I will say that I enjoy "Elf" a lot. Not my favorite Christmas movie certainly- but a fun one nonetheless.
And I did see "Looney Tunes: Back in Action"- (I mean, it's Looney Tunes- of course, I'm gonna see it. That's the kind of...
"Well, we'd have enough if we had a hit on Broadway!"
(Okay- maybe it won't take that much.;))
Have faith- Dog City: The Animated Series may see a release on DVD yet. (By the way, it is available to watch for 2 bucks per episode on Amazon.com, just so you know...-Though I'd still rather...
Good news! Cool- an official opening day set always helps to solidify in the minds of fans that this movie is indeed coming. (Not that I had any doubts at this point, but things can always get derailed.)
I'm not going to go to the movies on Christmas Day, but I will certainly probably see...
Diff'rent Strokes is a classic- Gary Coleman will always be remembered for Arnold Jackson-Drummond. It's sad to hear of this- he had a lot of talent. I also enjoyed his work in "The Kid From Left Field" and I definitely remember the "Night of the Living Doo" cartoon- that was funny.
God bless...
Sesame Street still easily holds the record for longest running American show (certainly in children's programming- and I think in programming in general)- I'd hate to see that record gone. I'm happy for Sesame Street to still be on the air- as far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best shows on...
LOL- that's the stuff of TMNT legend, man!:)
"We Wish You A Turtle Christmas"- certainly one of the many of the long list of Christmas classics (or not-so-classics!)
http://tmnt.wikia.com/wiki/We_Wish_You_a_Turtle_Christmas
TMNTPedia has a hilarious page on this and the "Coming Out of Their...
It's the same guy- Dennis Hopper did indeed play the role of King Koopa in the 1993 "Super Mario Bros." movie. It's been a while since I've seen the movie- it was interesting to say the least- and Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo at least looked the parts of Mario and Luigi.
But I think I'll...
Thanks, man- I couldn't remember the name- but yeah, I knew Mulch had first appeared on The Muppet Show before transitioning to Muppets Tonight- and it'd be great to see him in the movie, definitely.
But honestly- does Dr. Phil Van Neuter and Mulch kinda wind up competing with Dr. Bunsen...
Wow- it's sad to see all these folks die within this last week or so- Dennis Hopper, Gary Coleman and just recently Rue McClanahan. May God comfort all their families in their mourning.
Oh dear- I'm sorry to hear that. That is sad- Rue McClanahan will always be remembered as one of The Golden Girls- great '80s show. I guess Betty White is the only one left from the show at this point.
May God be with Rue's family at this sad time.:concern::sympathy::cry:
"interestingly humorous" sounds like you wouldn't be expecting it to be humorous but it probably would turn out to be after all.;)
I hope the new movie can maintain a good balance between the classic Muppets and newer Muppets- Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, Scooter, Rowlf, Dr. Teeth...
I love both the live action and cartoon versions of Fraggle Rock! As far as I'm concerned, being something of a completist- I feel like the whole series is complete with the cartoon series. Some fans don't seem to care for the cartoon and that's fine. Others like me really love it and that's...
I think the reason the '80s and 2003 interpretation of TMNT gets compared so much is that, while I'm aware both are interpretations of a comic book, I would daresay many fans of the shows have never read a single issue of either Eastman and Laird's original comics or even the Archie comics...
I just love that Christmas special- and especially "When The River Meets The Sea"- Paul Williams did a great job with that song. I don't know if it's what he intended, but I can't help but think of spiritual matters when I hear the song and it makes me think of that future meeting with The Lord...
Ha ha- that is awesome that both you and your mom go right into the Pinball Number Count with no hesitation.:)
As for my Muppet reference in daily life- I just ran across a pretty cool band today called "Carolina Story" (www.carolinastory.com)
and I thought they were pretty awesome because...
Hey- that is awesome, dwayne1115! I trust God will use you to reach many teenagers for Christ at the church you're with.
I think one of the best pieces of advice I can give is to connect with the teenagers in your church (and then in your community) as much as you can, but in a...
