I adored Daffy as a kid, and he's still my favorite to this day. He was arguably the most versatile of the bunch, playing many roles, from Robin Hood to Duck Dodgers, often with Porky Pig at his side. The "Duck Twacy" toon is my favorite.
Yes, Feldman's performance as the Swedish Chef's "Harem" was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on TMS:).
My fav episode has always been and always will be Vincent Price. Mr. Price makes a great performance, and seems to really be enjoying himself.
When I have the money I intend to get a nice piece of original art of Donny from one of my favorite comic book artists. Haven't watched, read, or played anything TMNT in several months, but TMNT will always be a big part of my childhood.
As a Scooter fan, I find your listing of him as the 22nd greatest Muppet sufficient, although I would have listed him between #15-20, as I believe he belongs somewhere in the top 20.
Well, TMM must be considered canon, at least certain parts, as events in that film are referenced in The Muppets (2011). As for the other Muppet films, I agree with Slackbot and Mo Frackle that they are more like 'performances' by the Muppets and not actually canon, especially since they often...
I'd be up for making a petition to have more Labyrinth merchandise produced and sending it to the Henson company. Don't know if it would work, but you never know.
Seriously, who the **** has the license for Labyrinth merchandise right now, and why haven't they made more? I'd gladly pay $80-100 for an officially licensed statue or figurine of Sir Didymus sitting atop Ambrosius. Get on the ball, people:mad::shifty::boo::grr::(:grouchy::sigh: .
Dr. Phil Van Neuter, the best character to come out of Muppets Tonight, IMO. I love, love, loved his cover of Thomas Dolby's "Blinded Me with Science," it was hilarious. He NEEDS to be brought back in the next movie. He always seemed like a somehow more insane Bunsen Honeydew, with a touch of...
This is so awesome! I've been dreaming about affordable official Labyrinth merch for years now! It's soooooo cool that I don't have to settle for the cheap, unofficial stuff I can find on Cafepress and other sites all over the web. For a second I was afraid you were bringing my hopes up only to...
Hi all,
I know this isn't Muppet-related, but I just put up two Golden Age comic books for sale on my eBay page, and 100% of the profits will go to Meals on Wheels, Inc. The comics are Popular Comics #105 and #126, and include strips featuring Felix the Cat and Terry and the Pirates. A lot of...
Scooter, naturally. A lot of casual fans think of him as a 3rd tier character, and Disney hasn't helped by releasing very little merchandise of him, but on the original show he was clearly meant to be a core member of the Muppets.
Last night in part of my dream I was playing Super MarioKart 64 and found out that Scooter (Yay!!!), Fl0yd, and Lew Zealand were hidden unlockable characters within the game. You had to perform a variety of special tasks, such as smashing a bridge of ice, to unlock them.
Last night I had a dream wherein I was in a store that had rare, hard to find Muppets Christmas ornaments for only $8 each, no doubt inspired by the real life event of me finding Hallmark's Kermit/ Piggy "On Frozen Pond" ornament for just $8 at a flea market last Saturday.
I don't remember Link having a crush on Piggy; I just remember him and Strangepork making insults at her expense all the time. Still, they'd make a good couple; they're both crazy in love with themselves;).
I always thought Link Hogthrob would make a good love interest for Piggy, but when they're not onstage together (and sometimes when they are) they seem to openly detest one another.
Pretty straightforward; what songs would you like the Muppets to cover and how would they add that special "Muppetiness" they bring to all the other covers they've done. My picks:
99 Red Balloons by Nena- Performed by Miss Piggy, for this number Beauregard is asked to fill 99 balloons with...
Ever since I first saw him as a lad, Crazy Harry has stuck out in my mind like the deranged lunatic he is:crazy:. I also always thought he was the scariest and most menacing of the Muppets, and recall having a nightmare about him as a child. He defaced a national monument in the last movie...
