Aw...nice to see a subtle MC romance brewing;)
Hmmm, now that Jackie has a bf, I can imagine how the loneyly MC fanboy contingent feels...time to find a new poster gal!
For me it was finding out a certain Farscape lady wasnt really an extraterrestial:(
cantus: >>>But for me, being Teeth is my second favorite Muppet, just to hear "Can You Picture That" live, would be my dream come true<<<
>>>Oh, I know what we need!
An Electric Mayhem Concert!
BAM! ROCK N ROLL MUPPETFEST BABY! <<<
jackie: >>>And Electric Mayhem concert would ROCK! Even...
>>>And you dont have cable? No Farscape? That is horribly sad. Do you at least have a blockbuster nearby so you can rent seasons 1 and 2?<<<
Sad? No way...after 4 years of paying $40+ for cable, they have the gaul to nix cartoon network and sci fi for c-span2 and golf.
that was 4 yars ago...
Just curious...as Warrick and Joggy might know about this, what Muppet bootleg stuff is out there merchandise wise? Ive seen some oddly painted Schliech pvcs online that might be. Anyways, could be interesting what people have found bootleg wise, as theres always a market for that kind of thing...
>>>It was put out by Changes in 1998. Good Luck finding one<<<
I have never seen the Men in Plaid one...so wondering if it was even released...tho it may be rarer than the Frogfeld and
MFS era Pepe shirt I saw people wearing at Muppetfest.
Well TF Armada premieres soon. Curiously, Entertainment Weekly hated the pilot...the pacing and animation they really disliked. I have yet to see any pictures or videos of it, but man...it has to be better than the recent Pokemon styled TF cartoon on Fox Kids.
Also, if its based on such a cool...
>>>Tough Pigs is really an angrier and darker. Kind of like the Muppets Pool Hall or something<<<
LOL I like TP, but this was a funny observation...actually, TP forum is more informative newswise than MC is about non figure merchandise and rare finds, as well as other stuff...
Oh the Tick cartoon was awesome!Thank goodness(even tho I dont have cable) great toons like the Tick still get played. As for Fox little strange forays into replacement heack...Didnt care for the live action Tick(I mean they tried to make it VERY seinfeld esque, but still) and HATED Greg the Bunny.
Mayhem and More, MUCH better title than that horrid who let the frogs out. And the cover...well I LOVED the MTM dvd cover(I like a more modern look visa vi old broadway stuff) but this clipart collage of the Muppets has been used so many times. They shoul dhave used that new TMS group shot...
>>> Oh I've had such a year of 'love stinks' caliber! I know just how you feel!<<<
Hehe, one love stinks happening a year is all I can handle;) Though the last big one was 2 years ago. *sigh*
To those creative electic types out there, our day shall come!^_^
>>>You know, I have the...
>>>Have you even BEEN to the Muppet Usenet newsgroup which people are talking about here ? It's much more high brow and i would never say 'uneducated'. There's only been 3 posts about the action figures though since they were announced which is very interesting !<<<
I sure as heck have...
>>>All right Beakie, nice to hear the big guy cut ya a break!
$4.75, eh? How big is the Rizzo?<<<
well, $4.75 because thats how many quarters I put in to try and get it...thats why they have those small phone numbers on the machines...its a claw machine mafia..."hello? we made the rizzo...
Yep, that; JHH, SNL Gorch, and the Frawley screen tests represent some of the best and edgiest stuff JHC has ever done. Lets hope they take some ques from that wild idea time period for the new show.
>>>I want to see SWEETUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I want to meet all of you wonderful people as well - of course<<<
I think Sweetums will be there again. He was the only Muppet I think you could meet, as he walked around muppetfest and the live show balcony audience brefly for...
>>>I wouldn't go assuming it's definitely March though until it's actually confirmed, things can change fast with Henson<<<
aw, too true. Factor in mother nature and madmen out of a tom clancy novel...and well anything is up in the air(no pun intended)
>>>What? Did I misspell something?<<<
"Oh, the gelousy is great it hurts my buttox."
hehe...as long as you dont get into dropping various letters of the alphabet, now that is annoying to read!;)
>>>There might be a slight edge to it but i'd think more of a mix between "The Muppet Show" and "Muppets Tonight" with a little "Letterman" thrown into the mix. Possibly an edgy monologue, maybe some outside goofing around and human interaction, but overall the same kinda skits as before<<<...
Im holding out for the rare chance someone on ebay might have a Men In Plaid Statler and Waldorf shirt. Phil has it listed on the collectibles, but I have yet to see it listed or shown anywhere online. Would anyone have any info on this item?
>>>Farscape" wouldn't probably have lasted long on a network, but over on cable it is a huge success story for Sci-Fi<<<
Gosh, I wish Farscape could be seen on regular tv, as I have to wait for the dvds. We just have all these Kevin Sorbo type cheapie Trek ripoffs and scantily clad medieval...
