One can never be tired of Telly and Baby Bear! The first several episodes this season have a lot of Elmo. Nine street scenes this season (not counting the repeat episodes) won't have him in the street story. It's not much, but it's actually more than last year. Oscar'll have two episodes to...
I mean, I love the song (one of the best Season 40 bits), and I though it would be a shame if they didn't use it again 'cause of that terrible puppet. It seems like a good example of what you're saying though.
I'm in favor of repeats, just not the fact that EVERY SEGMENT is something we've seen dozens of times already. I mean, the AFFS and Murray bits were a given, but even the B&E Adventure was re-used? They've got a half-dozen widescreen ones not used that are the exact same length.
Today's episode is supposed to be a repeat of the Golden Triangle of Destiny, but SS.org lists it with a different episode number and different sponsors, so I recommend you guys watch it to see how it's altered.
I have "Shapes in My Room." I'll send it when I can.
As for making mp3s, sometimes I either: Download the video, then covert it to mp3, or I record the audio using WMM.
So far, there haven't been an 90's segments shown. And "Don't Know Y" wasn't shown in season 39. I'm glad if they don't use it again, they used it all the time.
Why I don't get is why other co-productions still get to use old material. I mean, Sesamstrasse is now in wide-screen, and they show at least one old Muppet bit an episode. And on Sesamstraat, they still show Forgetful Jones. They don't even show Oscar on Plaza Sesamo anymore and they still get...
It seems like this season they're trying to use more HD stuff. I have no doubt that the show will be completely HD in a few years. But, yeah, using a lot of new stuff from last year isn't very effective.
Actually, the four episodes he's in doesn't include that segment. He's in the "Snuffle Sneeze" episode, the "Up in the Air" episode and the "Puddle Jumping" episode.
So far, the only things bugging me about the season are the re-use of Murray segments (FF button is put to good use) and that they're not really using any non-EW material that's from before 2008. I mean, today's Iron Monster episode had a couple of things from the 4:3 days, but they weren't very...
