Hmmm. I hadn't thought of that much and I still don't know how Richard's Piggy sounds, but that is food for thought. If that were the case though, poor Eric might be out of work. :sympathy:

That was a good one. But it would be sad if that really happened. After all the duck is Ernie's prize possession. Remember on "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street," how sad he was when he had to give him to Mr. Hooper in order to pay for Bert's cigar box? Imagine how he'd feel if Cookie...

I haven't thought about that much. I guess that's why those characters weren't seen much in post-Henson films. It seems the only one bringing :sing: back to life is me in the role play games. :)
By the way, if you want to be technical, Jerry was the ORIGINAL Statler voice. It's...
Mr. Rogers on Muppet Central Radio
I've noticed that there are a lot of Mr. Rogers songs played on Muppet Central Radio today. I'm sort of wondering if this is used as a tribute to him, since he died on Thursday. I haven't caught too many of his songs on the station before, so I'm wondering...
I've finally heard Steve Whitemire as Statler on a song from the Weezer videos on Muppet Central radio and I have to agree with most people here. His Statler is pretty much dead on to Richard's. I sort of wish he'd voice Statler more often these days. Jerry, I know you've been on this board...
I've seen it.
I finally saw that episode. It was really good, but I wish they would have used more familiar characters. It seems like they didn't show Gonzo until near the end. But I liked Bill Cosby as Waldorf. By the way, who was that monster with Sweetums who carried Cliff to the...

That sketch I remember really well. I don't remember the names of all the characters but I remember the plot lines for most episodes. There was a baseball episode and there was one where a girl lost her hat in the middle of the street and it got run over by a car:
What's that on...

Oh, I get it. The term 'canon' means sort of a collection. I thought you all were talking about cannon balls or something like that. Why didn't anybody say so in the first place? I was wondering why it looked like so many people were mispelling the word. I understand now. :halo:

Is Jerry Nelson on this board? That's interesting. I'm also wondering if "Mr Oz," is Frank Oz? I don't think so, because he'd probably have an avatar of Miss Piggy or Fozzie rather than Gonzo, but I have been wondering about that.

I know what you mean. I was pretty young when he died so I don't remember too many episodes with him (other than Christmas Eve on Sesame Street). I've also seen him in Sesame Street books.

Tonight? Wow. I'm glad you told me. I might have missed it. I'll have to set my VCR. (I have trouble staying up that late. Anyway, thanks for the info.)
I looked at the TV listings and it's actually 12:30am where I live. Still, I'll remember to tape that.
