I don't believe you know Drtooth very well, because there's no comparison. Yes, he's opinionated, but he also tries to meet everything halfway and take into consideration what both sides have to say; if there's one thing he's made a point about for years, is that it seems like no matter what the...
"The Best of Ernie and Bert" has a very similar line where Gina concludes with, "Anytime I want to visit Ernie and Bert, all I have to do is look at the scrapbook. Anytime you want to, all you have to do is look at this tape."
Or, at the very least, since AMs traditionally came in green, blue, lavendar, and orange, was there intended to be an orange Whatnot? Scooter's overall shape and design is virtually identical to the other Whatnots.
So apparently THE TALK was created by Sara Gilbert as a result of having postpartum depression and deciding ripping off THE VIEW would make her feel better.
One thing I never understand about Comcast/xfinity's Sounds of the Seasons Music Choice channel whenever they play Halloween music every year: they always play cover versions of THE MUNSTERS theme song, but never the original theme song itself . . . yet, they always play Vic Mizzy's original...
I have to say, I'm really satisfied with what Nick's done lately in terms of letting two very prolific independent companies bring their work to newer generations of fans - and actually letting them own and control what they create to boot.
I'm refering, of course, to Sid & Marty Krofft with...
HBO, and other premium cable movie channels like it, do not interrupt the programs with commercials, they usually play programs from start to finish with no interruptions, then they fill in the gaps between what they broadcast with promos and ads for upcoming shows and movies they're going to be...
Remember that Dexter Duplication Contest? Each week I'd call in, and the only times I was able to get through were for the colormorph towel and the colormorph shirt. And you know what? I never got them. Never.
You're right! How did I forget that?
Interestingly enough, I have a Krofft DVD that has a collection of the pilots of their shows, and George Lopez did a commentary track for the LIDSVILLE pilot, since he said it was his favorite show of all time as a kid.
I've realized what the one thing I've hated the most about the Flash animation: it's not the stiff robotic movements, it's not the cold and impersonal facial expressions, and it's not even how some of the characters' proportions have been off model since the switch to Flash. Nope. The thing that...
I would've added that to TV Tropes if they would lift my suspension - which they won't - but yeah, IMW does have obvious Early Installment Weirdness to it: it seems to be its own self-contained universe separate from C&C, but after the first season, it's clear they share the same universe, and...
I don't get how they say this is Pufnstuf's return after "45 years." Pufnstuf's made all kinds of minor appearances throughout different Krofft shows over the years, including LIDSVILLE, SIGMUND AND THE SEA MONSTERS, THE KROFFT SUPERSTAR HOUR, not mention he made a glorified guest appearance in...
The theme from PSYCHO seems to be thrown into some movies for scenes where a character is horrified by something they've just seen - but almost always played for laughs.
Both Sheep and Courage had Sesame connections, and it makes sense, as both Mo Willems and John R. Dilworth did animations for SST. In the case of Sheep, Joey Mazzarino, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, and Jerry Nelson did voices; with Courage, Fran Brill played a fishonary, and Craig Sheman wrote a few...
I've heard similar things about I AM WEASEL; they've apparently been disproven since then, but the story that went around for a while was that David Feiss didn't want to do Weasel anymore when COW AND CHICKEN got a second season, but CN insisted they keep the Weasel shorts in, so Dave had it...
Yeah, that was actually way back in 2008, and when YT compressed videos moreso than they do now because videos weren't offered in playback quality higher than 360p (no higher than 240 in some cases), so that caused the video quality to be even poorer than it was.
Umm... if my memory serves correctly, I believe I may have posted them throughout 2012, I think it was... somewhere around that time, because that was the first time I was able to convert VHS to DVD+RW again. I posted both full episodes (in 15-minute installments, since my goof-off channel still...
I think the VCR half of my DVD recorder is dying again . . . I swear I think these things are designed to break intentionally: I've gone through three of those machines just in the last few years, and all because the VCRs start breaking down.
I had a number of Season 30-38 episodes posts on YT at one point, but that was around the time that SW started dishing out copyright strikes for posting their content, and since I received one from them for posting Elmo's World, I had to remove all that I had posted to avoid further strikes.
Actually, I forgot a couple of others that didn't last beyond a second season either:
TIME SQUAD, essentially PEABODY'S IMPROBABLY HISTORY with Mr. Peabody replaced with Tuddrussel (interestingly, we have a car dealership in my town that's run by a Ted Russell) and Larry 3000. I guess gay...
