Do you guys tend to buy the paperback copies, or do you pick the issues up as they're released? I'm just starting to buy them, and bought the first series in paperback form (except for the limited Fozzie cover)... seems like there will be some time to wait in between collections, but I like to...

That's the thing, though...if they allow the license to expire, if they were to get an extension for another couple of years, they could ensure business for that much longer. If they could release Rizzo at the tail-end of owning the license, surely it would make sense for Disney to want to try...

Maybe you've hit on something, Luke...perhaps they're stalling to maybe get an extended license to make Fozzie and Piggy in the future, since they know those two characters are in high-demand. That would sure make sense...

Just thought you'd like to know this book is also on sale as a Bargain Book for only $12.96! That's an INCREDIBLE price for a coffee table reader like this one! I'd get a couple, and get them fast! I already grabbed one earlier, and might pick up another one if the sale lasts much longer! :)

BIG Sale on this book! Looks like Amazon.com has it listed as a Bargain Book, for only $3.86! I went ahead and picked it up today, as I didn't have a copy. I'd scoop it up as soon as you can if you want one. It's been falling in price all week long, but I don't think it can get much lower!

Howdy, Rev! Welcome to the boards! :) Like Kathy, I don't have any children of my own (yet), but I've been sharing my love for the Muppets with my niece (3) and nephew (1) over the last year or so! I took The Muppets Take Manhattan to their house one night, and Allie and I watched it together...

So nice to hear somebody else has the same feelings about them, Snowth! They're so underrated, and usually they're treated like the extras in the group... boy, I really want to see the Squeakquel now! :D

I always loved Theodore and Eleanor together...Theodore reminded me of myself as a kid, and his crush on Eleanor was so endearing, and just plain cute! Hopefully they had some nice scenes together... :)

I bought the first season of "Desperate Housewives" the other day, since I wanted to see what all the hype was, and I had heard that it had hilarious undertones...I wasnot disappointed! It's hard finding time for an hour-long TV Show, but when I get to watch an episode here and there it's nice...

Hmm...interesting. I wonder if the arc would have included human guest stars, or if maybe they were trying to get clearance for some Sesame Stars, perhaps... :super: Maybe if that was the case, there were issues with allowing the characters into the stories...?
