I still think that this is not getting the attention it deserves....some things that are popular right now (flavor of the day if you will) seem to be getting 10,000 easy....Muppets is an evergreen propperty that makes sense for a lot of reasons....I just don't get why it seems to take so long to...
I like that we all have varied interests....Muppets is always going to be top on my list due to the impact they have had on my life... but I like comic books, Lord of the Rings, Legos, smurfs...and many other things....its all good...so I think it's great we can find another common interest...as...
The Doctor always lies... I'm sure even if it he does only have one regeneration left (or none) the 50th anniversary episode may be about him finding a way out of that..or outright rewriting history.... though it would explain the fall of the eleventh prophecy...its not about Smith falling but...
I also loved the clips of previous doctors used in the show... did we actually see clips of all eleven? I didn't see 8 I think...though I could be wrong
All kidding aside.. excellent episode with a surprise ending that I did not see coming...though River and the Doctors relationship is very confusing especially knowing where she came from in the timeline in this series finale...Strax is by far my favorite character on the show these days.... and...
Free comic book day is one of my favorite holidays....went to our local comic store and got four free comics each (including the sasame street one)...after that we went to toys rus for a free lego star wars building event. Star wars day and Free Comic Day need to happen together more often...
When you have audience that is really into it, it is amazing. I used to do a lot of shows at libraries, Babies R Us, etc; and those were always great audiences. These days I do most of our shows in house at the school/church where I work. Sadly I think that audience can be a bit jaded...but when...
If they were going to do this why didn't they just make it in the Tiny Titans style.... O would have loved to see them in Art Baltazar's style at sidekick elementary school with Principal Slade and Darseid the Lunch Lady...and Lobo as the gym teacher....
Those always come to mind when I think of the antz and Bugs Life thing...it just seemed like for a while dream works had their own version of whatever big movie was coming out.....at least I think it was dreamworks...but at any rate copy cat movies always seemk to be around...coicidence or...
interesting blog by Noel MacNeal on the lack of Puppets on TV here...he says there really are only two shows with puppets which is Crash and Sesame Street...I do like Crash but even if you don't at least its making an effort to do something with puppets that is not geared towards the preschool...
I liked the performance...a little off but not in way that is too distracting...I would have to see him in a normal sesame street segment to really give a judgement on it...but for performing Elmo on the fly live it was pretty good...
Wish I had a new FAO one on hand (no pun intended) because it would be easy to tell...the fabirc is different....it's 'flatter'...doesn't look as muppetty (though I think partially so the velcro sticks to it)
My first what not I ordered was when they first came out...really nice quality for what it was....A couple years later one of my students ordered one and it had the 'lip' problem you mentioned but still a decent quality over all...then I bought two of the toys r us ones...they are wokable but...
Dropped most of my DC books after the new 52..been reading Green Lantern still.....and Thor from Marvel...but my best read is the new IDW Transformer comics...very creative and very different with a focus on characters other than Optimus and Megatron...... and I read My Little Pony comics...but...
