I'm a cartoonist (and puppeteer). I think you all know that. I support the acceptance of comic strips as art. I think it is nice that several newspapers are now adding color to the dailies and I hope folks are writing their newspapers and thanking them for that, but at the same time we need...
I have a complaint about comic strips. The funny is gone nowadays. They are blah. They need new blood to work on them, or just retire them.
Hagar the Horrible is horrible.
Mary Worth is worthless.
Apt 3-G should be condemned.
Steve Roper and Mike Nomad...wonder what THEY'RE UP TO?!
Rex...
Oh, yeah--IF more smileys were to appear (in place of the ones we have now), I suppose here's what I would suggest:
Keep Kermit (obviously)
Switch Piggy to Love
Oscar to angry
Fozzie to big smile (with that gaping huge mouth of his)
Cookie roll eyes
Grover embarassed
I...
Way groovy you approved! I tried to think of something good, and found that one picture of Janice (I think on YOUR site!!) and blurred the background. I did another one, too, so he could have two options (I found 2 pics that I liked).
When I get to the Fozzie Bear avatar I did from TMTM, I...
Jerry does just fine with Statler, and I haven't even seen the Weezer video, so I can't judge between the two. Just from what I've seen, I think he's done a great job--especially at MFest.
I was thinking just now that most of the more famous Muppets were Frank Oz's (from SS and TMS), but...
Jon Arbuckle would have to be played by someone really nerdy and in between being ugly and cute. Also someone who transfers well to an action figure (because you KNOW that'll be coming out with the movie). If they do make action figures, I hope Palisades does it.
YAY! Joggy had a good time in the USA!! ;) I'm glad the trip was successfully safe.
Byronious, I'm up for all of us meeting and making a day of it! But when and where? What's a good central city for all of us? Nathaniel can ride with me.
Kev
No no no...I mean for beatings. When I was a child and was bad (never!!) those were 3 of my mother's weapons of choice. I figured that you were going to scold me for being bad.
Well, hoping...
Nate, they may come to Memphis to visit St.Jude, which would be way cool if they did. Maybe we can all get together and do a MC Day Out or something??
Kev:o
I retract all prior statements by me made. Both Nate and Jamie are cute.
Byron, on the other hand...;)
Jamie, does the belt come off if the car gets stopped? What about the flip-flops or sandals?
:attitude: Take back all the 'old' and 'bald' statements and I'll retract mine. Cause, you know, you'll be 30 one day, too. :(
Gosh, I'm going through a mid-life crisis!!! I can't beLIEVE I'm 30, and it happened last August.
Froggy, if you stop the car, what happens next?
