    The Simpsons thread!

I too like the older Simpsons shows. I also like the fact when they had a celebrity, they did not play themselves but someone else, such as Dustin Hoffman playing a substitute for Lisa's class. Now when they get a famous somebody, they always play themselves. And are they using the same...

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

You know, after christmas was finished, I saw a bunch of valentines day stuff. I will never figure out why it's always good for a retail store to put out junk for the next holiday months before.

    Henson's and Oz's VOICES - esp significant

That's what I think makes the muppets work and become real characters. The personalities, the voices supplied for the characters, and the on going chemistry between characters. Everyone knows, who may not be a big muppet fan, about the chemistry of: Kermit and Piggy Bert and Ernie...

    Unemployment is now 7.6%

That's one of the complaints I have with current education. People make a fuss about the high school dropout rate across the country and say these kids need to get to school. Those special interest groups are what is dragging politics down, because the politicians have to cater to those groups needs and wants. In order to get the vote, the politician says they'll do this and that for a special interest group. But you can't do that! You can't go around pleasing...

    Top Film 2008

If new fans want to get into the series, buy the dvds. But if the movie brings in people who don't normally watch Star Trek and they do try to get into the 5 series and other movies but can't because those are really different than the new movie, then obviously we conclude that they really...
