I finally found somewhere to post it. Here's my interpretation of the "Man or Muppet" scene for a project for my Advanced Video Class:
There's a lot of notable mistakes (especially with the mirror and some of the framing of shots), but everyone I've showed it to loves it, so I can't complain...
So many things; the music, the atmosphere, the decorations, how the snow makes my yard and town look...it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
On one hand, the plot involved the character behind the oil company being evil. But in the end, it turned out the organic fuel guy was the one behind everything.
I'm sure we all know about the CGI Road Runner/Coyote cartoons that WB made not long ago. Well, here's some clips from their latest forays:
It seems odd to me that they're making new ones in CGI while they have a regular 2D show on TV.
Not really still, but my friend did explain his joke during the credits after Tex is hit with the bowling ball ("Oil bet that hurt!")
One thing I noticed during the opening number was that I can't wait for the DVD, because the audio in the theater wasn't so great and hearing a crisp version...
Me and a friend saw it again tonight (my third, his second). Some guy outside the theater tried to test our Muppet knowledge and actually stumped us (something about SNL).
I do have one question: Can someone please explain Fozzie's "Moscow" joke? I don't get it at all.
I would look up KermiClown's video site. You'll be charged only $10 (depending on whether or not you have something to trade him with or to get a nice DVD cover).
