Any other examples youve done?
Sidcrowe, were not gonan talk about being up at 5:30 am^_^
Second, how could I have forgotten...there is a milion examples of Muppet consuming alcohol! I think though usually its in an adult, good tatse way. I mean there was a brand of hard liquour that had Cookie Monster on it some decades...
For those newcomers on here and thoe that may not have known, I'll go ahead and post links to the official sites for Pepe the King Prawn and Joe the Armadillo(probably my favorite of the new Muppets)
I got a special source code cracking thingamabobber from Muppet Labs that allowed me to...
Oh, good call! I totally missed that reference...btw I believe the show wasnt MTV's TRL with Carson Daily, but rather Last Call with Carson Daily on NBC late late. I wouldnt even know bout that show but sometimes I cant sleep and its 2:30 am int he morning ^_^
Re: Examine the Flipside...
Oh to true. I believe wholeheartedly the 80's died in May of 1990. Not just because of JH, for a myriad of reasons. And then boom, Richard Hunt. So the first half of the 90's JHC was in a pretty disasterous state. Heck, I never even saw MCC or was interested much...
Aint that the truth. Ya wouldnt believe how hard it was to get my Rizzo.
I'll be lucky if I see series 2 anywhere before xmas...California seems to be the last area in the world to get the figures. Heck, the cereal dvds *just* got here today.
While Im glad it didnt happen this year, I...
Re: My Thoughts
On the contray bro...after reading every single word of every single post in this and the other MCM thread...it is in my honest opinion I think yours captures it all. I couldnt agree with you more.
Now yes I watched this from a different perspective than most people. Yes...
I think its a shame two-fold: 1) Nobody ever is interested stateside of Mopatops or Hoobs(despite the fact Mopatops is ripe with TMS, FR, etc cameos) nor has any desire to do anything about it it seems. I mean wouldnt we all love to see that I love the Muppets BBC special?
2) These are only...
They don't still do those embarassingly bad backstage skits before and after every match, and have the bikini bimbo boob angles still do they?
*gosh I miss late 80's WWF*
I'm not gonna beat around the bush with this one...here is my ultimat ewant list:
*The Muppet show Live Gala(december 2001)
*The Muppet q&a portions of Muppetfest
*The 12 episodes of Little Muppet Monsters
*The unaired pilot of the animated Scary Scary Monsters
*The uncut episode of the...
Thank you! While I am slowly trying to become more zealous in my Muppet passion than ever, one BIG thing bugs the sasparilla out of me...the Muppets and winking and nodding that its all just a movie. I hate to say it, but GMC is the least favorite of the Muppet films.(well one I dislike that...
Aww! Thanks Debo! *feeling all warm and squishily appreciated now* Im glad you like it, and I had a feeling you'd want an avatar of that second Fraggle. Hehe, I like that manga Fraggle look personally!
Anyways, Ive been really honing my skills and I am quite confident I can make ANY avatar...
Re: Luke
Well I have an idea of what JHC might be trying to do with Scooter in the coming year, but I'll leave that for people to decide. Let's just say I think some perceptions will be destroyed.
Second, you will always find that the Muppets are never strictly G rated all the time. And...
Heh, thanks man! I swear Ive gotten a huge new boost of creative inspiration and hope for the Muppets since seeing the new Muppet film(and I thought it was horribly paced in a lot of spots) I for one will make a concerted effort to not get involved in flame wars(at least the best I can do) and...
I think Phillip Glass or Hans Zimmer...maybe Danny Elfman?
At any rate I think beyond all the complaints of inuendo(you folks are complainging about the stuff in MCM? Oh boy...just wait til ya saee what Team Todd and Fox have in store next Summer for the theatre.
It's interesting all the...
I think the live Muppet Show gala thing was the debut of what Im calling the new 'theatre' era. Meaning the decision to bring back the theatre, and bring back fan favorites. Seeing the Electric Mayhem was a dream come true...but they debuted several new ideas I hope they implement in the new...
Considering the Muppets are Palisades flagship title, and NBC's The Today Show has a lonnnng history with the Muppets...I think we'll see the figures!
And note to Mike: wear something Muppet related!(kermit shirt, tie, or something) Represent yo! ^_^
Good point. I said this to the firends I met at Muppetfest, and I'll reiterate it: 2003. Though 2002 was a goof road. I know in the past we thought 'oh! 1996 this will be the year!' then I remember me and Phil talking about '1999' on the chat in 1998.
The Muppets are not back yet, but they...
