Was that your confirmation email or just the message you got after ordering? I would suggest emailing the box office and asking for sure (boxoffice@wpunj.edu). I did that and they got back to me.
Yup, of course Clementine could also be annoyed that FJ remembers Gene Autrey before her, lol. It does parallel, I think, most girls' frustration with their boyfriends/husbands!
Btw here is the site for the Sesame Street event. It explains the event and where to go to order tickets. I would...
That would be awesome if that could happen! It does look like tickets have to be bought quickly though!
I like how they said the emphasis is an adult point of view of Sesame Street. I'm amazed this point of view is finally being noticed!
I noticed on youtube, a comment was once left...
That's what I love about the Muppets, how they celebrate being different and a little odd in such a beautiful and universal way. And you know, Jane did say Richard was a bit underestimated as a kid, when he was simply trying to observe the world around him. ;)
Cool Meep! So you figured out...
I have to admit, I have also pondered on where Beaker came from. In many ways he actually seems outside of Richard's typical preference (though he is loud, that probably helped!). I think your theory makes sense, MN, about inner insecurities. I said awhile back that maybe Beaker represented...
I just found Big Bird in Japan on DVD, I was really thrilled because I've always loved it. It's funny of course with Big Bird suffering from major culture clash, lol. His homesick song is always so lovely to hear. But the story of the Bamboo Princess is also quite sad and touching.
Ooooo, that's nice! Seriously, did you come up with that?
I try to tell people, the over secularization of Christmas has its origins in the commercialism. Even people who celebrate the spiritual aspects put too much emphasis on the presents and the decorations and all. Christmas is a...
I enjoy both the spiritual and secular aspects of Christmas. I acknowledge the spiritual aspects of every holiday, Christian or not. Whether people are of one particular faith or not, the message is for everyone.
The idea that everyone on Earth deserves good will. And you know, everyone says...
Aw lol, well Mr. Rogers did kinda fit that image of the soft spoken easy going preacher. The way I always saw it, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was intended to counterbalance the manic excitement kids experienced from Sesame Street, lol.
MuppetNewsgirl, if you missed it, I think you'd really enjoy my descripton of a FJ sketch I just saw (posted above). I know you said you can't see the SesameStreet.org clips so I made an attempt to describe it. :)
Yay! And Kevin said it was after that Oklahoma sketch that Richard warmed up to the character. What I notice is that in this sketch, Forgetful's a bit more prima donna and defensive about the forgetting, which is what Richard seemed to enjoy doing more in general. Rather than being all "Aw...
That's a great idea, I'd recommend that to anyone. I could offer them to my library or local school, there are a lot of ideas so they don't go to waste and less fortunate kids get to see them.
I just got to see a few 3rd season episodes through Netflix (thank you, Netflix!). Maybe I'm crazy, hehe, but I think Kermit's song to Lynn Redgrave in the Robin Hood episode is the most beautiful love song I've heard in awhile. I was singing part of it to myself the other day and I didn't even...
You know I forget which episode it was, maybe it was Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, where a horse shoe throwing contest was taking place. Chaos ensues, at which point a Whatnot Muppet with a distinctly "Forgetful" voice comes on (if you get me hehe) and says in a rather cheeky way, "Oh yeeeah I...
