Gonzo: Kermit, this recording studio is like a phone booth.
Kermit: Actually it is a phone booth Gonzo.
Fozzie: I had no idea those two old guys were going to heckle me in this song.
Rizzo: They're gonna heckle you everywhere pal.
Animal: Animal beat drum!
Kermit: Yes Animal beat drum...
If you want a happy ending, watch a Disney cartoon! I understand where you're coming from and I've seen topics get out of hand where people just insult each other. Believe me, I don't want to see that either, which is why I like nice friendly sites like this that do not tolerate that kind of...
I get that I'm on Muppet Central. I also know this is the GENERAL SECTION, a place to talk about anything general that doesn't pertain to anything Henson related. Hence why people can talk about anything in the general section of any website that doesn't relate to what the website is about...
Not gonna happen. If this country really, and I do mean really, wanted to lower unemployment the big businesses need to bring all the jobs from over seas back here so people can have a job. But that's not going to happen. Businesses are smart, greedy but smart, and have figured out they can pay...
On the subject of 80's/90's cartoon villians, I always enjoyed watching Negaduck and wished there was an episode or two part episode where he tried to destroy F.O.W.L and meeting and trying to take out Steelback in Darkwing Duck.
It's hard to not go for Shredder and Krang in the 80's Ninja...
I just think this place would be more interesting if you had different topics besides what you have here in the general section. Maybe more people who haven't been around in a while would start coming here and add their two cents on something.
But yes I do agree that these kinds of topics...
I can see why things might get a little crazy with some topics like religion, politics (debating politics is always a bad idea because no one ever wins), etc. etc., but I respect everyone's opinion (although it isn't the norm for other sites when someone tries to give their opinion on something...
I want to see some controversial topics on here. I know this is a "G" rated, family oriented/ kid friendly site and I have no problem with that, I just want to see some more interesting topics besides things that address new movies, or television shows you watch, or the weather. However, I think...
A psychedelic version of "Another Brick In The Wall" by Pink Floyd with all members of the band singing parts of the song.
"Psycho Killer" by the Talking Heads sung by Zoot. That song has Zoot's name written all over it.
Janice: Oh wow, like someone had a dream about me? Rully!
Sam: I can't believe a grown man had a dream about me........and YOU! He must not get out that often.
Janice: Oh Sam, like lay off the guy will ya. It's not like he didn't have a dream about us getting married....
*Janice walks off...
The Beatles: "I'm A Loser" sung by Zoot or Floyd
"Oh Happy Day" sung by Janice, Dr. Teeth, Floyd, Lips, Animal, and Zoot backed up by a real choir
Ray Charles: "What I Say" sung by Dr. Teeth
The Mamas and the Papas: "Monday Monday" sung by Janice and Floyd
*More contemporary songs*...
I did something more productive than most people yesterday, I went to the gym and ran a good ol' 8 1/2 miles.
It's just another day in the year, and it's just paid attention by those who aren't getting that attention from their significant other. Why show the one you love on one day when...
Watched it and it sucked. I know the message is the same. It's all about "we're one, we need to come together and help, yadda yadda blippity bloop".
In all honesty, the one made in 1985 was great and it had a lot of star power in it. Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Steve Perry, Diana Ross...
Letterman just loves using people as his own punching bag. I will say this, he and Leno have become extremely stale in the last 10 years or so with their shows. Letterman likes to sit behind his desk and chit chat with Paul too much. I loved the bit he did in the mid 90's where he worked at a...
Actually if you watch Letterman's show, it seems like his audience is programmed to clap at the correct time.
As for Jay, people can speculate all they want and hate the man all they want, bottom line is NBC's management is to blame. Sure I don't know why Jay couldn't tell NBC goodbye and go...
