I just wish Gonzo hadn't changed SO much. He was great in the Muppet Movie but after that he changed SLIGHTLY in GMC & MTM, which was alright. But then he lost a huge chunk of wierd. TMS Gonzo was great. MFS Gonzo plays the straight man it seems more than the little odd ball I grew to love...
I wouldn't get mad at Sam Goody because some kid didn't know about muppet toys. The employee probably just heard 'muppet'. You should thank him for looking for you.
What's with the part in Muppet Family Christmas being cut out? You know, the part where Fozzie talks with the snowman outside. I saw it when I was younger but on the video it's no where to be seen. Why is it cut??
Yeah, I live in Wisconsin, and the shelves are always empty from Muppets. I live near-ish to two Targets that carry them but I have not seen the Koozy Kermer at all. I've seen the megas and the kitchen and all the figures at some point, but in very little quantity. I just PRAY that Sweetums...
I'm super excited about Beau! I'd rather wait for a clean Robin, but scout Robin is a cute idea. Capt. Kermit is neat if you want to collect the MTI figures (I don't) and Johnny without Sal is not fun. I perdict that johnny will sell bad, but then once Sal is released collectors will want...
Real quick, cuz I just found out myself, most of you probably already know. But Sam's book opens and has a MAP inside, that's CRAZY! And a place on the belt to hold the key! Pretty neat for those like I who had not figured that out.
Yeah, uh huh, I think we ALL noticed that, Gonzo the Grape, get with it! And of course Rizzo's close to the puppet size, that was the point you melon head! :grouchy:
:grouchy: Sheesh.
In the words of Kermit the Frog, "My goodness Gracious."
For some reason the last post reminded me of something that happened when I bought my series 4. When I was checking out and the girl at the counter was scanning the figures, she first scanned Strangepork then Link, then looked at me and asked in a snotty sort of 'you're a rude person' kinda...
The poll suprised me that Link is in a close second! I agree he's great, but I've spent very little time with him (maybe that's the problem). Real quick, does anyone display him with his fingers through the little loops on his cap? I wanted to but I'm not sure it looks right. Hope this...
I was just redoing my muppet set up (real quick; I have Beaker strapped to the table with Bunsen hovering above wielding a butcher knife. Hee hee.) AND as I was placing the play sets about I was thinking how cool the theater would be to have, but it would probably be expensive do to size if it...
Maybe some of you noticed this already but I was watching MFS after I got my Rizzo figure (red jacket) and I noticed that in the beginning when he's working out in the mouse trap, there is a blue and red jacket laying on the floor next to him. Kinda fun!
I also realized that Rizzo's figure...
Hee hee. I found them here in Wisconsin at a Suncoast in the mall this past Wednesday the 2nd of July and after I was done my bank account was over drawn. So goes the price of owning a Muppet!
fav fig
I voted Rizzo because he's one of my favorite characters but Sam is REALLY growing on me! Originally I wasn't going to buy him because I don't want a bunch of double characters; I already have two Fozzies and in a few months I'll have two Gonzos (hopefully!!) and later another Piggy...
mini
Humm... When I looked at the first picture, the size was what I had assumed they'ed be, they're about average pvc size, but then I saw the second one with the Sams and was impressed by the size! It makes sense that the figures would be in scale with themselves but sometimes things don't...
I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks of the new figures having pictures of the toys on the front instead of the ACTUAL character picture. I really liked that the muppet was on the front. It seems kinda silly that there is a picture of the toy on the front of the toy. Was there a...
???
My guess would be Target. They carry a lot of different action figures. On another note, is Toys R Us being dropped? I rarely ever see Muppets there, and the ones I do are from series 1 with the occasional Gonzo or Harry. I suppose that might just mean they sell really well there. Well...
I recently noticed that Patrol Bear Fozzie is going to be an exclusive which I have no problem with but if they release a Bear on Patrol playset like it says they will on the back of the Swedish Kitchen then won't that hurt the sales of the playset if Fozzie is limited? I'd assume if people...
