Hey! That reminds me, when I get a digital camera I'll have to post mine. It was made from that gift bag from the MF gala thing.
I think mor epeople should post their Muppet collections...so far Ive only seen Travis and Warricks.
crockalley: Thanks for posting this thread...
It is always so cool to see a thread about the greatest Muppet figure line ever. Props to Ken, but nothing pleases me more in the world of Muppet merch than those 1978 Fisher Price figures. If only that line had continued *sigh*
I wish Fisher...
Holy cow there's a lot of posts to this. Congrats Byron. I imagine if there was a "Cory Fan Club" thread it would mostly be nasty low blows from my usual suspects of detractors.
*Proudly hated on MC for 4 years strong* ^_^
The word train wreck has become synonymous with the mouse these days. I mean I feel sorry for the kids that were taken to the wretched format of mid to late 90's 'song and dance-save the princess-two talking sidekicks-and an evil emperor' format.
Thank goodness they got rid of that old...
Sorry to have to tell ya, but even though for *right* now the Mavs are #1, the Sacramento Kings are gonna sweep it all come playoffs/finals.
That said, the Mavericks I think are the second best team in the NBA, right under the Kings...and if it wasnt for the Kings the Mavs would be my fave...
word on that. And even though Robin's my fave actor, man did that Jack suck. He should stick to ornate visionary films like toys, one hour photo, bicentennial man, and what dreams may come.
I think they just came out with 11(seriously) I remember having to sit through the first one when I was growing up.
As for American Tail there is 4 now.
Anybody seen those cheap knockoffs of Disney films?
Like "Aladdin", "Little Mermaid", "Mulan", etc. What good intentioned parent would...
Oh I skipped out on most of the 90's Disney films(With the exception of the great Aladdin and Lion King) The format we all saw get beaten to the ground started with of course The Little Mermaid. I skipped out though on Belle(America seems to be the only country it was called 'Beauty in the...
ROTFLMAO! Dude, you are a visionary! Hehe , constrained from speaking out against Disney's bungled handling of Spirited Away and holding Pixar by the b@lls contract wise...I bet John Lassetter and Steve Jobbs are concocting the most inept tepic tripe they can think of to get their 24 film deal...
Heh, I never got into Darkwing duck, Talespin, Animaniacs, etc. For osme reason when the 90's rolled around my childhood passions sadly ceased for awhile. I do remember going to this
animation festival a long long time ago and seeing old 80's Pixar shorts and those obscure Tracey Ullman...
A Ducktales 2 would rock, no matter how its done. Even on the cheap I'd rent it. But how can you make a watered down version of Tarzan? Just look at that amazing fluid animation in 1999, and compare it to the horrific sequel 'Tarzan and Jane'.
Not sure what BTB or Hurcules ZTH is(more...
I was gonna say, I was wondering why Piggy looked so grotesque, heh. Not sure why ya went with the 70's versions, but at least its cheery! And hey, Mopatop!
Hehe, well the 2000's are all about recapturing your childhood!(tho for some, we never left^_^)...I mean just go to Palisade's forum, it's a whole forum dedicated to the revival of toys from our childhood.
Sorry to say, but these guys are idiots for not accpeting online orders. They should have a site called clammachinebreaker.com that sells devices to bust open those *expletive deleted* arcade claw machines^_^ The only place to get Nanco plush are from those things or those strung out carnie...
Oh indeed. When I saw Fantasia 2000 3 years ago on Imax opening day I was astonished to say the least. For those that just see me talk trash about the Diz, believe me...I have plenty of reason to celebrate the Diz. I mena Fantasia 2000, wow.
Also a lot of the sequels I really dug, most...
The simple fact would be little kids are too impatient and to young to read subtitles. Granted, I kept up pretty well with the Jabbaese subtitles in the Return of the Jedi when I Was 5...but for instance...even though Holland is one of the few non English speaking countries that's good about not...
It's funny, while I didnt like the second Goofy movie, I loved the first one(even saw it in theatres) I also really dug Recess.
Yeah, what were they thinking with Aladdin 2? Though I will say Aladdin 3 was da bomb(no idea why that didnt come to theatres)
Lion King 2 I thought was one of...
