I dunno. They already re-ran the same street stories that are getting re-ran this season duing season 41; I don't see why they didn't pick different ones.
Trying to talk to these mothers on Facebook is quite difficult, what with me not being a parent and all, which is their only argument...
There's only like 4 episodes from season 39 airing with new inserts, and that's part of the actual 26 episodes. The other episodes re-airing are just re-airings; no new numbers, just episodes being repeated like shows normally do.
Well, the ETM complaining isn't as big and seems only limited to their Facebook page. The "Hot and Cold" bit was on YouTube, which meant the outrage could be spread easier through the Internet. Let's be honest, not many people would check SST's Facebook page than their YT channel, especially if...
Even in the NY Times article about the bit, Carol-Lynn said they wanted to replace EW, but they knew it was so popular, so finding something worth the money replacing it was a hard decision. And it says this about the testing:
...however, I do draw the line at calling them idiots, as one person did. I don't AGREE with the parents, but I wouldn't go so far to flat-out insult them like that.
I wish the parents on Facebook would stop complaining. They should know they're kids are too young to be watching TV anyway. I see videos all the time of 2 and younger ones dancing to songs from the show, but they have no idea what's going on. The message probably doesn't even sink in for them.
Yup. That's how things get done in this country!
Also, the woman I mentioned above, her comment got a like - by her baby boy she clearly made a Facebook page for.
I wrote a few things on the links on their Facebook page (on the bump on the log in the hole in the bottom of the sea).
One thing that struck me as incredibly stupid: One "elementary school teacher" used in her argument that there's no such thing as a "chef explorer". There's also no such...
He's usually in at least one story as the Count. We only know the plots for a little over half of them, so he may or not make an appearance. He is part of the "Counting Hats" story repeated from a few seasons ago.
But other than the ambiguous, he did "Five By" and a Mr. Johnson/Grover bit...
I can't see them recording a new album, but since they're releasing compilations of previously-released bits, a Jerry tribute album consisting of already released songs could definitely work.
I have DVR, at home. I'm at college now and my dorm room doesn't have a TV (neither me or my roommate brought one). My classes also start when the episodes are playing, so I couldn't really watch them anyway.
