Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

I dunno. They already re-ran the same street stories that are getting re-ran this season duing season 41; I don't see why they didn't pick different ones. Trying to talk to these mothers on Facebook is quite difficult, what with me not being a parent and all, which is their only argument...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

There's only like 4 episodes from season 39 airing with new inserts, and that's part of the actual 26 episodes. The other episodes re-airing are just re-airings; no new numbers, just episodes being repeated like shows normally do.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

Well, I like what I've seen. I've yet to experience a full segment.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

Well, the ETM complaining isn't as big and seems only limited to their Facebook page. The "Hot and Cold" bit was on YouTube, which meant the outrage could be spread easier through the Internet. Let's be honest, not many people would check SST's Facebook page than their YT channel, especially if...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

Even in the NY Times article about the bit, Carol-Lynn said they wanted to replace EW, but they knew it was so popular, so finding something worth the money replacing it was a hard decision. And it says this about the testing:

...however, I do draw the line at calling them idiots, as one person did. I don't AGREE with the parents, but I wouldn't go so far to flat-out insult them like that.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

I wish the parents on Facebook would stop complaining. They should know they're kids are too young to be watching TV anyway. I see videos all the time of 2 and younger ones dancing to songs from the show, but they have no idea what's going on. The message probably doesn't even sink in for them.

    How can someone hate Elmo?

Have you seen the preview clips?

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

Yup. That's how things get done in this country! Also, the woman I mentioned above, her comment got a like - by her baby boy she clearly made a Facebook page for.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

I wrote a few things on the links on their Facebook page (on the bump on the log in the hole in the bottom of the sea). One thing that struck me as incredibly stupid: One "elementary school teacher" used in her argument that there's no such thing as a "chef explorer". There's also no such...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

He's usually in at least one story as the Count. We only know the plots for a little over half of them, so he may or not make an appearance. He is part of the "Counting Hats" story repeated from a few seasons ago. But other than the ambiguous, he did "Five By" and a Mr. Johnson/Grover bit...

Did the Emmy's forget Jerry Nelson?

I can't see them recording a new album, but since they're releasing compilations of previously-released bits, a Jerry tribute album consisting of already released songs could definitely work.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

I have DVR, at home. I'm at college now and my dorm room doesn't have a TV (neither me or my roommate brought one). My classes also start when the episodes are playing, so I couldn't really watch them anyway.

    Yeah, that's a repeat.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

The Two-Headed Monster bit, which I saw online, is indeed. What was the Super Grover 2.0 bit? I'd know if it was new or not.

The "What Seems to Be in Store for Season 43" Thread

It's not like Jim wasn't going that way anyhow. At least the Murray stuff is shot outdoors, which looks awesome.
