Those Golden Book VHSs often had performers missing. EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES had Caroll and Fran on hand for Big Bird and Little Bird, but since they didn't have Loretta Long, Susan is renamed Mrs. Washington. Likewise, BIG BIRD BRINGS SPRING TO SESAME STREET has Caroll, Frank, and Fran, and...
I remember a few years ago posting something on TV Tropes about how something had become an Ascended Meme because of Nostalgia Critic (don't remember what it was now), but shortly thereafter a mod deleted that entry I posted, saying that it was a "shoehorned entry." And yet, as I still browse...
This reminds me of something I saw not too long ago that down in Australia, they scrambled Snap, Crackle, and Pop's designs in terms of their wardrobe and hair colors. . . . I guess it's like what they touched on in AUSTIN POWERS:
"AIEE! IT'S GODZILLA!"
"No, it looks like Godzilla, but due to...
I cannot get people to understand that I'm not going to upload Sesame content anymore! I've explained this to people countless times, and I've even recent posted a video message practically pleading with people to stop asking me to upload Sesame content because I can't for a variety of different...
Well, wasn't the 90s a decade of where there were all these kind of sub genres of music that had tropical inspirations that were trying to be mainstream but just didn't quite catch on, like calypso, reggae, ska, and the like? Whenever I hear and see that calypso intro, to me, it just screams...
BULLWINKLE: Heavens to Betsy! This car is stickin' its tongue out at me!
KEL: Oh, no it's not, it's just a fax.
ROCKY and BULLWINKLE: A what?
KENAN: A fax. Don't you guys know about faxes?
KEL: Yeah, don't you know about email?
BULLWINKLE: Sure, a fax is a little red critter that steals geese...
You know, I seem to recall someone saying the new arrangement of the main theme song was supposed to be reminiscent of the original version from 69 to 92. I don't see or hear that. Not that the new intro is bad, because it really isn't, it's great, I just don't see or feel any old school...
I don't know which one. Prior to Season 39, that facade was made up of the old Shaftway that jetted out from Finders's Keepers and Celina's Dance Studio (while that large brickwall across from Big Bird's nest are the side walls of Furry Arms and Finders Keeper's side by side).
Is it just me, or do Pops suddenly look a little too yellow? Like a shade of yellow similar to Bert. I've never seen it look that yellow before. :shifty:
What season was this episode repeated from?
And have they changed the timeslot already? It wasn't on again today when I checked in, but it was on HBO On Demand.
The mental image of Telly and the Bobkateers piling up in bed with Bob makes me think of "Bert's Blanket," with all those sheep piling into bed with Bert . . . after he tells them they can sleep in Ernie's bed.
I'm convinced that Progressive actually loves to troll people, because they've done another one of those awful commercials - it's not on their YT channel at the moment, so I can't link it - where everybody around one certain person slowly keep transforming into Flo clones.
With the death of David Langston Smyrl still fresh in my mind, I initially was thinking this was the Tom that was Mr. Hooper's assistant for one season.
Apparently everyone on YT can post links in comments but me, and I don't understand it, because I've never posted anything malicious, suspicious, phishy, or anything . . . and yet, whenever I try to post a comment with a link to another video or a Google+ post, those comments are always...
