Buzz: Oink Oink! An Interview With Miss Piggy

Awesome interview! I especially like the part where the host asks Piggy if she plans to marry Kermit. And yes, I do hope The Muppet Show returns, either in reruns or a revival (especially a revival).

    A 6th Fraggle

I really think Lou would've made a good sixth Fraggle, IMHO. She's so cute. :-)

    Jim Henson's Pajanimals

Wow... that was an awesome song! ;-) And yes, I did think Sweetpea Sue did an awesome job singing on that song, so I wonder if a plush version of her will sing that. :-)

    Fozzie on Family Guy AGAIN

Got to see the clip on Hulu. And yes, IMHO, that was pretty funny. :-) Who knows when they'll have another Muppet reference... maybe they can do a reference to Fraggle Rock and Muppet Babies (or Dark Crystal and Labyrinth) one of those days, and I'm sure if Sid the Science Kid becomes REALLY...

    Jim Henson's Pajanimals

That's Alice Dinnean-Vernon performing Sweetpea Sue. And yes, she does have a good singing voice, judging by the clips I've seen on YouTube. (She kinda sounds like Gabriela from Sid the Science Kid with a sweet Southern accent, IMHO)

What if Sesame Street was ANIMATED ?

I like SS for what it is-- just classic puppetry. :-) As far as who'd do an animated SS along with Sesame Workshop and the Jim Henson Company, I would've gone with Marvel (hey, Marvel worked with Jim Henson on Muppet Babies, after all!) rather than DiC. And if they went with different voice...

The quote you posted and the one I posted both exist in the episode. For proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEpbUU6cxYg

    Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas Musical

As an avid Muppet fan, I definitely want to see this show, but since I live so far away from Connecticut, it might not happen. :( (Would be cool if I did get to see it, though.)

    Favorite Quotes

My favorites include: "Always wear a hat." - You Can't Do That Without a Hat ""Ugh... what is that hideous round thing?" - Beginnings "You cannot leave the magic!" - Change of Address "Every Fraggle has a song. All the songs sung together make a medley. Your medley will begin with Red's...

Another MB Go Bye-Bye fanfic, this time with a baby Fraggle

(we cut to both Skeeter and Red playing football) SKEETER: Here it comes, Red! (cut to video of an NFL game in progress) RED: I got it! I got it! (ball zips past) I guess I don't have the ball. SKEETER: Let's try again, Red. RED: Okay! (fade into another game of catch) RED: Throw me...

    What Happened?

Somehow, I wish Bear would make an appearance on any upcoming "Studio DC: Almost Live"... I could surely picture him trying to sing with the classic Muppets and the Disney Channel stars, that's for sure! :)

    Happy Birthday Steve Whitmire!

Happy birthday, Steve! Thanks for doing a good job bringing new life to some of both Jim Henson's (like Kermit and Ernie) and Richard Hunt's (Beaker and Statler) Muppets! You are awesome. :-)

Another "Go Bye-Bye!" fanfic, crossing MB & STSK:

This time, it involves Sid the Science Kid and his friends, using the "I'm Looking for My Friends" song, with an appearance by the Muppet Babies versions of Gonzo and Animal: SID: I'm looking for my friends! I'm looking for you... there's Gabriela! GABRIELA: Watch what I can do...

    Rare Muppet bloopers

I loved the BeakerRoll on YouTube. Definitely one of the best videos ever!

    Jim Henson's Pajanimals

I think it is! As for other performers, I can hear Alice Dinnean-Vernon and Victor Yerrid, but I'm not sure who the other Muppeteer's voice is... it could be Julianne Buescher for the horse, though. And if it is Dave Goelz for the dog, this may be one of the few times a classic Muppeteer...

Your Thoughts: Sid the Science Kid

Oh, one thing you're wrong about, dw-- the girl with glasses is named "May", not "Meg". But, great review, nevertheless. :-) And I'm actually starting to like May myself, while my favorites are still a toss-up between Gerald and Gabriela for Sid's friends. (And I really do enjoy Sid himself...

Your Thoughts: Sid the Science Kid

I love it. Especially when it comes to Sid and his friends (my favorite of his friends might either be Gerald or Gabriela because they are both energetic and fun). And the fact that they do a week's worth of episodes regarding a certain theme is pretty much like how Mr. Rogers used to handle it...

Let's say they make some Muppet Babies video games...

I know I had started a topic about a Muppet Babies racing game that would probably clone Mario Kart... but picture other different types of MB video games. What would you do? As an example, I'd probably try a platformer involving Gonzo :concern: and Animal :halo: rescuing the other babies from...

    Fraggle Rock Animated

That would probably work, too! ;) BTW, speaking of animated Fraggles and voice actors, who would you go with to voice any animated version of a Fraggle that didn't appear in the cartoon (i.e. Lou Fraggle, Seven-Words-Max, Terry Angus' characters [sans the Storyteller Fraggle, who did appear in...

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

Yeah, especially not at the same pitch Michael Laskin had for Junior on the Fraggle Rock cartoon. IMHO, that has to be the worst attempt at even doing a cartoon Muppet and trying to make sound like the original character (which he wasn't)...
